Okay smokey. I think I've got it now, 16 court cases and 18 patents. Some (two?) cases have two patents not one.

I think this comes down to integrity and professionalism.

PCIP have challenged Sycurio's integrity:

For me, it feels like a bit of a rabbit hole when I start going into the history of filings. I don't have a particularly technical mind. It's interesting to see but whether it really deepens understanding is a moot point.

Victor, after reading all of this over the last year do you think it goes to trial in June, or will Sycurio fold or PCIP buckle? What odds do you give on each potential outcome? If it goes to trial what odds do you give to each side on a successful outcome?

On the surface, it appears, that if Sycurio went all the way in America they'd probably lose. Europe looks really slow but there is a 70% chance of some sort of result. The UK seems to be the fastest to a decision but the most opaque. We need a patent lawyer on the thread.

Reading around revocation in the EU it looks like it can take four to eight years, whereas in the UK it's more like two years. In America it looks like quite a few years: Judge, Jury, Appeal. In the EU it looks like you can have around a 70% success rate to defeat or amend a patent and in America 85% to defeat it. I can't find any stats for the UK, you seen any?

Interesting paper on the process in the EU & UK. I wonder if PCIP made this step?
