Rainbow Rare Earths Phalaborwa project shaping up to be one of the lowest cost producers globally. Watch the video here.
Oh, and not done too badly on here myself either. For another 'decent' company equaly undervalued as a AIM dog check out Hellenic Carriers. If HCL do go the way of Globus then theres easily a 50% upside to the SP on there One of there ships has just crashed so in my belief the price is all the more undervalued, although if taken back to private own a Ship then **** knows
Yeah nothing like a share consoladating 300% raise to get people back having a shufty on here. I had a sneaking suspician there'd be a few posts on here as LSE yet again fail to make the simplist of calculations. Before you go lads, Kechacho? Any advice on what happens if listed on the US, do I need a new broker account, strictly FTSE I am!!, well mainly **** AIM companies tbh ;)
Lots of love Arjun Batra xx
Where is everyone? loads happening onboard but not on this board, SP rises, new ships. director buys, delists, AGM's,US listings. Opinions on the proposed cancellation of AIM listing would be most welcome
Lets hope its not!! Good post TD, although this is just what we didn't need at the moment. This situation is getting faintly ridiculous can anything else happen to further undervalue this share?? In fact scrub that!, wouldn't like to tempt fate Seeing as the MMs have taken this down 15% I can only see this as another opportunity to top up, which I have done albeit with minimal funds. Local river pilots ?? pirates more like!
In the light of Globus Maritime seeking shareholder approval to delist from AIM, surely there must be serious concerns as to HCLs position going forward. What are peoples thoughts on this, GLBS stated they felt the listing on AIM was unhelpful as the SP priced the company at well below NAV. Excuse the pun but are we not in the same boat here? Globus are seaking admission to the US market so could HCL follow suit, or will it be taken back into private ownership? Most importantly though, what of the small PI's investment?? :O
Yeah got a bit excited when I saw the sub shares in my account.. Disappointed to see that the SP was already below the take up price. Scratching my head a bit as to why they wouldn't want to incentivise shareholders to participate. Maybe because the directors themselves own so much of the issued capital they don't have to rely on PI participation, I guess its all underwritten etc. I actually sold a few in the mid 130's hoping to invest in some other big fallers recently but what with all the negativity my moneys still on the sidelines. Might top up here but unsure whats going to happen to the SP, especially if the resolutions get passed. What about you still in?
Yeah pity theres no 50% rise in the SP to compliment it :D . Might have to revise my forecasts, like you said global markets looking shaky, choppy waters ahead?
As I posted before modernising the fleet appears to be the strategy. In vogue at the moment, GPRT have just called an RI to purchase a new vessel.
Look like theres a new ship on the horizon. Don't get this one though take up @ 127p which granted was at a discount to the previous closing price but only just. Not the most enticing RI Iv seen, now the SP is signifcantly lower why bother. Any ideas on this one? Our good captain Dragnis has taken his entitlement but who else?
Well not as enthusiastic as me thats for sure, no you've got a point. Im just comparing to what happened with Globus, at one point they were down to 2 ships and it looked liked they were winding up. It was then that the real shareholder value became apparent and broker targets were raised. Since then they've aquired 2 new vessels and the SP has doubled. Maybe wishful thinking for a similar outcome here, but Im trusting that the management know what they're doing .As the RNS states "with this sale HCL initiates its fleet renewal programme" I believe that its not all about debt, and we will see new ships as future strategy dictates perhaps operating in a reduced fleet
Thats due North, 1pound minimum!
Slick bit of business here, well they've got more than they paid for it. Looks like they're setting about reconfiguring their fleet, a la GLBS. Expect some brand spanking new vessals shortly. This SPs only going one way from here! http://www.hellenic-carriers.com/files/hc_08_06_10.pdf
Still in, cracking performance here. We're close to the highest SP since the meltdown late 08. Always tempted with taking a profit but these are long term for me. Safe place to have your money with all the carnage around at the moment as well so if I were you I'd keep holding, at least until we see a change in the upward trend. Then you can always hop off and try and catch some risers in the wider market! Good luck all onboard! http://simplythebest.net/sounds/other_formats/AIFF/sound_effects_AIFF/sound_effect_AIFF_files/boat_horn.aiff
Oh thought you'd toddled off, thought u were champing at the bit to get in @ 17p! Results were always going to be dismal. Id be more inclined to focus on the continuing Tungston recovery, progress in the Uzmetal case and negotiations on the Mongolian plant, quote "Metal-Tech continues to seek ways of restarting production at the plant and the Company is currently in advanced talks from interested third parties"
Yes was only joking there, totally agree with you. I'v got positions in 3 UK listed shipping companies, here Globus and Goldenport. May not see the highs of late 07 for years to come but the recovery is underway. These are cheap, undiluted and will pay handsome dividends when the world economy picks up. BUY and HOLD! ;)
Treat yourself to a fishfinger sandwich :D
Im still on board, and just came back up on deck for a sneaky top up this week. I remember Tooldoctor telling me to be patient at 95p, well I wish Id had a rush of blood and sold at that price :) Actually tbh Im glad Im still holding, can see plenty of upside when this gets going, Would appear however that GLBS strategy of reconfiguring their fleet is being looked on more favourably. Cutting thieir fleet and purchasing brand new vessels, plus directors buy ins have seen it up over 100% in 6 months. In fact you could pick GLBS for 60 odd pence while HCL was hitting its highs of £1. On that basis I reckon the value is def here at the moment, goes Ex Dividend on the 28th so nows a good a time as any to BUY HCL! and thats a Captains Order :)
Oi KWB, might be a little price drop coming shortly, gives you a chance to get in before the EGM, don't say I never do anything for you :)
