The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring financial educator and author Jared Dillian has been released. Listen here.
Not forgetting post-dilution consolidation 100:1 so if PI's are 80+% down holding 10000 shares, for instance, they end up with 100 shares with an indicative placing pre-consolidation valuation 0.02. So, in other words they are literally left holding a bag of peanuts or two in the local supermarket,
Some intra-day trader seems to be having a fit today... no it's not yet BOU for squid a trade... lol
Yeap...you'd fink they'd be struggling to fill that 600% exuberance level on the order boooooks but then again one born every way... who deally noes...
Large in Scale Deferral. Publication mode / post-trade deferral: reason. Delayed publication.
@john_z_doe,
Honestly don't think they had a clue it would rise so much. However, having risen they could have followed Arun Srivastava example. At least it would improve on goodwill and reduced antagonisms. It might even have given private investors more confidence to purchase more. A big factor is seeing how directors soak up funds for themselves, how they spend funds. Usually, puts the smart money off if they see a casual showering of funds. Not saying this is the case here. However, it all goes to showing good karma in the end and that usually comes back with a higher share price.
EDL not doing badly this morning considering the indexes are down and there isn't any news about.
@john_z_doe
Doubt they realised it would go up and touch 600%. Still feed you, feed them, feed me, feed us and they can make as much as they like. It's only when they feed on us, you and me that it gets nasty. We are but fish in a small pond surrounded by big sharks, in reality.... lol
uNkwnTrader thinks differently the uNknw part hiding the word rogue... lol
You probably bought the highs...
Not stating anything which is not already public knowledge and probably will land on shareholders doorsteps today or tomorrow.
In any event, it's not advice when you just state the facts. I have no opinion.....
Before expenses looking at:
£100k raised
plus conditional looking at £410k (if approved)
So not much really being raised even without factoring in expenses.
Your house could be sold for more....
Before folks get too exuberant keep in mind:
Placing 500 000 000 new ordinary shares
Placing 2 050 000 000 new ordinary shares
Conditional issue 213, 980, 200 Director salary shares.
All on the cards.....
Intra day traders who paid 7 on the open probably looking to sell at 10,11,12 some taking a good 50% profit. Better than watching paint dry. If you go short here and this falls back 5 based on dilution then still a good trade. Whatever it's all animal spirits with EDL at the moment. No rational movement one way or the other...
Agree it's good to see. Took me a long while to turn EDL into profit. Hopefully others are doing likewise and not trapped in a negative cycle....
Look out the dog is at it again blaming .......

10/11 resistance level keeps raising its ugly head....
I got a shock this morning when I woke up and saw even my dog is now even trading this stock. Good exuberance on the open.
lol
My last comment is about EDL not SHG - just to make it clear to other readers.
mick-b,
Agreed. I'm waiting to get back in but won't do unless it falls way back. There is also 100:1 consolidation on the cards. Going forwards with a company this size your looking at more fund raising through placings/issues post consolidation. So, it's only worth trading on exuberance rather than investing.
Depends on Tanesco. If an RNS is released with positive news on Tanesco this could climb further. Averaging isn't always advised but there are no hard and fast rules. If it drops I would average away losses and await the next positive RNS release then get out with super profit which only AIM tends to give. Look to get back in but pick levels carefully. Usually metaphorically speaking when folks a screaming blood on the streets that's the best time.
Good luck. Hope it works out for you even if I'm hanging on here waiting for the next opportunity to arrive.
