It all looks so good on paper so even with all the historical disappointments why are we sub 3p??

Maybe Ravgen will want to buy us now lol to protect their royalties from all those streck tests being moved over to Ranger!!

Maybe we will charge more now for the Ranger tech and reagents as it’s a lot cheaper for all labs to run that than pay $100 royalty. Maybe move over to IONA whilst at it.

Thanks GL - they have expanded on what they said to me a few days ago re the benefits of Ranger so that’s very positive.

We need this trading update/h1 figures to see where we are and if we are in course for broker target. Any news that explains the share price low would be welcome at this rage as well.

FWIW I’ve been told that the company is (obviously) fully aware of the legal dispute - we’re not connected and there is no negative impact on IONA.

As mentioned by someone else this could be a further major differentiator for us if via Ranger we are clear of any patent issues. Labcorp are running MaterniT (Sequenom) currently - going forward will they have to be paying $100 royalty on every NIPT test they do? Or would it make sense to move NIPT supplier to one that is free of any patent dispute and actually owns a key element of the workflow (with its own IP) that you already use?

Of course I don’t underestimate the potential for things not to work out here as expected but it (again) appears we have something with Ranger that could speed up the end game here for us - the million dollar question is why in that case is the shareprice so low.

Re the Singapore approval tweet - hopefully a shift in what they will be communicating (even if non material) and a move away from staff photography winners to updates that fill in the gaps between trading updates.

Both Ambry and EKF are going live with NIPT in the US next month but as always we have no idea in volumes to expect.

Nice to dream of a takeover but you’ve only got to look at the shareprice to see there is no substance in the rumour.

It will probably be sold into like all previous rumours of news that never materialised.

Would like nothing more for it to be true and hope it at least rises on any rumour but look where we are.

More likely we’ll be looking at an underwhelming H1 trading update in a couple of weeks than a takeover.

Trouble is new contracts - confirmation of a 2nd megalabs I guess- is unlikely to shift shareprice based on reaction of the Labcorp contract. Unless it contains some idea around size and what it’s worth which is unlikely.

At 7p’ish nobody else seems to see the potential or a likely offer for the company.

I’ve averaged down and now hold more than ever so obviously see an end game with a share price much higher than now but I can’t see what will change things here short term other than something totally unexpected.

Illumina won the original tender a few years ago and now it is up for tender again but I don’t think they are looking for one supplier this time.

Yep all appears good as it has so many times in the past yet we still have shareprice weakness and no sign of any CMD reaction or II buying.

Talk of a Ranger revolution this summer well let’s hope so but will the reality live up to the expectation this time - I hope so!

As expected really in terms of anything to shift the shareprice or give confidence/visibility that we are going to hit the £29m forecast this year. Likely they are expecting the US to do this but no numbers etc for us to see as usual.

Also see on Twitter that Stifel now have a target price of 15p (this was 20p a month ago) and Singer has a target price of 11p!

The next week or so will see the end of the three-year commercial agreement with TF re exclusivity of IONA on their platform in SE Asia - not sure whether the market is bouncing back over there yet (perhaps the omission of anything related to the core business in the recent update implies not) but we can now at least offer either platform globally.

Related to that same agreement with TF was the lock-in period for the 42m odd shares they own so let’s hope all is well with this particular major shareholder (the average price of their shares is 9.2p).

Will we get news re the big US outfit who are switching to IONA before year end? Note they are switching from another NIPT provider so perhaps there is a (slim) chance we will get some figures attached to the RNS. Another US vacancy I think gone out today.

Hopefully we’ll get something like this as the 3month contracts for between £10-£20m.
