I have been invested here a while now and have been buying on the dips and have a reasonably low average, but as much as i hate to admit it, the so-called derampers have called it correct so far

When are we expecting the oil to start gushing from WN, before we get carried away with the prospect of an oil shortage?

On the other side of the double headed coin, there’s been posters on here for nigh on 2 years ramping this share, encouraging new investors to get involved, and have subsequently left for their next pump and dump, as to why people moan I would imagine there are quite a few investors came in here on hype, the pound party, mortgages paid, new cars, rolex, yachts, the ramping was unbelievable, so some people might have a reason to moan

/nibblepibbley I agree with you that DHC is a deramping troll that now infests the board that he once championed so vigorously, to the extent that I would imagine he has drawn a few investors in here at a much higher price over the last year or so, now that he has sold out at a loss he has done a complete u turn and now deramps his once beloved UKOG as i have said before everyone is entitled to have a change of mind and sell out of a share they are not happy with, but DHC ramped UKOG so hard every day all day clogging the board up with how great we are doing it was embarrassing , nothing could get him to stop, how many people were taken in by his over the top ramping, I believe we are now in a better place than when he sold out at a loss, ...As you say don’t engage with him, I won’t but every time he comes on here deramping I will let people know his history ATB.

DHC I really can't believe the audacity of the man, as i have said before and i will keep saying every time he comes on here deramping Ukog...this man filled this board from morning noon till night with every copy and past over the top ramp that was imaginable, no one could question him, now he is asking some of the questions he shot down...every one is allowed a change of mind, but he was that extreme in his views and shot down and hurt many a poster on here, that for him to come back as soon as he has sold, and deramp in the manor that he was so against and repeatedly told posters to ignore and filter is just unacceptable, This man has no credibility IMO not fit to play to an empty big top IMO.

Groover...I have to agree with 21ATS The only reason I see for consolidation was if the company reached a size and stability that was able to enter the FTSE.

Less shares and a higher price per share gives a perceived higher degree of credibility...consolidation before that or for any other reason would be a bad move as far as shareholder value is concerned, leaving the door open for more of the same...fund raising then more dilution, seen it happen before.As to your question of a price, couldn’t even have a guess as sincerely hope it never happens, unless as 21ATS says as requirement to enter the FTSE.

As far as I am aware
To short a stock, you need to borrow it, there are no major IIs to borrow from (if there was, there'd be the > 3% TR1 to prove it), and there are no declared short positions above 0.5% (as again, they would be declared)...

None of the CFD providers allow you to short UKOG, as there's no one to borrow the stock off (see point above)...

You 'might' be able to open a spread bet, which will require a pool of people willing to go long to offset the short bet (possible), but as SBs don't actually involve the exchange of shares they have no impact on SP...

So where are all of these shorts that people on here keep banging on about ?

Heid you're asking the wrong person where's the boom, I Never once predicted one or used the word, I asked lots of pertinent over the last few years to the extent, that you and DHC were classing me as a deramper... I am still conservative of my expectations here...but when I do sell this or any other stock, I wont be back on there board boasting how much i have made elsewhere, or posting negative comments for what ever reason you see fit.So go ask someone else where's the boom.
