What would the reasoning be for dropping the sp to fill a buy order ?

Thorpedo...Exactly The Rig arriving wasnt news it had already been RNS'd that the contract was for the delivery in September...but how many posters on here have been ramping the daylights out of the rig arrival 2-3p and such like??

highlander you say you can’t see rig arrival changing the sp with great effect, then go on to say 2-3p if we are really lucky...well firstly I would say 2-3p would be great effect (massive)on rig arrival and if it did go to 2-3p we will have been very very lucky...I sincerely hope it does though as we are due some luck

Does anyone have an idea on how much per barrel the recoverable reserves may be valued at once a CPR is issued...that is indeed a very good question I can’t find anything concrete but 2-5 dollars comes to mind...if someone comes up with factual evidence of higher i will be delighted

Robone...You mentioned sucked in by rampers...I personally know over 20 naive investors sucked in by rampers...I work on the rigs in north sea, when the Gatwick Gusher was hot news and the talk of more oil discovered on land than the north sea, followed by the pouring of oil and national significance, a lot of hard working men took a punt, yes they were sucked in by rampers, and that was just on the rig i work on...

Dantoy...I have been here a while and been fortunate enough to have been in a position to average down on my initial investment, and reasonably happy with my position going forward, but i have friends in-fact relatives that naively bought in here on hype, no ones fault but there own, but try telling them dilution is good.some of them still cling to the pound party.I sincerely hope we get a great CPR and the sp moves accordingly ATB

I give up dilution is good can’t wait for the next placing...I have a reasonably low average and will be holding for a while yet...but back to the original question 9-12p in the next 4 months my honest answer would be not a chance IMO

Dantoy the number of shares in issues is very relevant to the LTH that have been holding with a higher average than those just buying in now...Think of stock dilution as a cake at a party. You bought enough cake to feed ten people, but two unexpected guests show up. Cutting the cake into smaller slices isn’t a problem, but no one will get as much cake as they would have, if the presence of the extra guests had not diluted their slices

Dantoy now that you ask, I think it is both rhetorical, and a genuine question, maybe the bit about THE NUMBER OF SHARES IN ISSUE IS ALMOST IRRELEVANT needs answering?

Am I being too optimistic in hoping that this hits 9-12p in the next 4-6 months? This question was asked earlier and rupertsmum gave a reasonably good answer , she posted, I don't think the company is worth that much at the moment with the amount of shares that we have. You might manage 3p if you're lucky. IMHO then, someone dismissed her post with the following statement...Once a CPR is issued the company will be valued based on oil in place, and SP will follow MCap rather than the other way around. THE NUMBER OF SHARES IN ISSUE IS ALMOST IRRELEVANT, which has received 10 recommends so far, could any of the 10 that recommended that post or the original poster explain this to me in more detail thanks.
