sounds wonderful, but as mentioned many times before OPTI is not going anywhere until it shows some money. Share price is at the same level as four years ago and falling, whereas you could have bought the exciting Unilever and made a 100% increase over the same period. Those that see this as a buying opportunity should should not be thinking about OPTI, but get a paper round instead.

of agreements and contracts, a bit short on indications of some real cash, hence the share price being the same as back in November 2015. OPTI share price is going nowhere positive until there's real money in sight, or somebody buys the company.

was worth 260p in January 2018 without any real news, then todays 131p must appear as a cheap entry price with the future looking much more secured. I would not be surprised if BGO was to be taken over by a larger outfit; whatever happens the SP is going on a roll.

has been much higher in the past when there was very little to justify it. Now things are looking good the sp should have no problem in heading back to around 200p.

that Facebook's Libra has been given some close attention with slightly negative outlook re tight control by BOE, FCA and FSB as per article in today's FT.

has QFI stated that they accept reject water from the desalination plants as part of the mix? I would have thought that they would want to avoid any additional sodium salt content as it mixes with Vanadium during combustion and causes other problems.

an ex ship's engineer, I loved the idea of MSAR and the no carbon residue; I presume Maersk were really in to it as well as they ran trials etc. At the end of the day Maersk must have crunched the numbers and decided that there was not a profit to be made in pioneering the fuel. The bigger problem in the shipping world is/was the new rules re sulphur content; possibly seen as being overcome by the drift towards using gas for fuel. It would be interesting to see what Maersk's reasons were for not completing the full trials (or is that out there already).

43% increase in share price in one week appears reasonable, though would not be surprised if it has doubled in two weeks. Plenty of potential, plus the possibility of being a takeover target.

buying 3,000 shares at 74.75p, on top of the 3,000 shares at 79.83 a couple of days ago. There maybe a dead cat bounce soon, or it may go down further, but we are in interesting times. Those who have been holding cash for a while will be able to pick up some bargains. Not convinced that we are at the bottom yet......who knows. OPTI will be a winner in the near/long term, and any gradual buying now can only be a positive step.

traders have sold long ago. They are now waiting for the bottom of the cycle, so as to buy in. Today's RNS doesn't really help, all these statements such as "$7.1 billion market" etc tend to induce a yawn in many people; as indicated by the number of people still selling up this morning to cut their losses.

There is more than one reviewer at IC of Bango so not unsurprisingly there are different interpretations at various stages of news. Some past comments below.
