There are significant plastic components in smartphones and computers - plastic being a petroleum derived product.

Tubes of toothpaste and many toothbrushes will be derived from petroleum - then there's some of the equipment at dentists, hospitals - with components derived from petroleum, eventually wear and tear might require new equipment, improved technology to assess / support patients might require further plastic components - or new healthcare buildings to service population growth might create demand for equipment with petroleum derived components.

In a world of elephants, there are still humans who use products derived from petroleum. Robots have substantial petroleum derived components, currently involved in healthcare and with potential to be more so, us humans might live in a world where Elephant Oil is real.
