1/Yes of course the MEG is reversed, it used to flow from Algeria, through Morocco and hence into Europe via Spain. Now Algeria export via the MEDGAZ line and they insist that no Algerian gas is imported to Morocco via the MEG. They are in a territorial dispute about Western Sahara after the 'Sand War' in 1963. I have tried to gather info re the length of the 'reverse flow' contract but no success so far.

Geopolitics are a critical factor in E and P my Antipodean wee chap.

3/ Correct hence why not use test data to help produce the next CPR? Surely a more cost effective and accurate document then?

Patch yes that is possible but only via export pipeline, CNG is imo a mid to long term BDP with investment required from the producer (PRD/ONHYM) and the clients. CNG IS valuable but the tankers are extremely hi spec and I suspect, given the location, may require military level security.

I have PRD near the top of the watchlist but without a reverse flowed Maghreb Europe Pipeline how would large flowable reserves be monetised? I do not dismiss CNG but see it as a long term gradual growth option.

A few negatives namely c.o.s, route to market, development etc but if a comparison to natural gas is made this is a massive and rare prospective resource. Fri RNS quite slimy though, doing my best to start greening my portfolio slightly and that news was far from ideal.

Marin brilliant stuff but how will it be exported?? Options are in gas form but only if the M.E.G is reversed or coastal LNG which will also require a pipeline but rather pointless given the proximity of Morocco to Europe.

This is not a Gulfport scenario, geopolitically.

1/ I would have preferred to have observed PRD making the critical path testing MOU-1, MOU-3 and 3D seismic acquisition.

2/ To see PRD elucidating pathways to the reopening and reversal of M.E.G flow in order to monetise any large and producible discoveries. CNG? Possibly but it is a big ask to develop a ground up downstream business. Totally different game to E and P.

So far neither of the above has either been actioned or explained.

Volumes of gas mean little if stranded but...if the M.E.G flow is reversed and/or PRD can help to supply 2 circa 2000mW thermal power stations then PRD is a massive winner.

I have been consistent, downstream sales are the priority. If the alleged geologists and 'big' business types can explain why the find has been RNS's as unconventional and why a sub-fracking testing technique is required we will have a more stable entity to invest in.

A traders dream á la early GKP has been created, this was always the objective. Cannot blame them, perfectly legal. Well up to a point...
