There is an attempt in process to rebuild lost credibility by certain individuals, the theme is this: the update RNS was not written for investors but for interested farminee companies. In fact the story is being spun that MOU-1 is a discovery, there is a remote possibility that a discovery of some type may be announced but the weight of evidence, so far, is that gas shows only were noted.

RNS's are always written for investors, counterparty farm in outfits will approach PRD for full suites of data, when these become available.

Scepticism is a healthy attribute...

Agree flyboy, we all probably have holdings down on paper, on the day. Bit of banter, irony, cheerfulness etc is what we English used to have in spades.

More recently though everything is taken as an offence in woke, online snowflake and brittle Britain.

Possible but Killik offer products to their managed clients including special funds for emerging companies.

Is it good news? possibly but they have a healthy spread of companies and highly professional fund managers.

It has to be the most over complicated operational update that I have seen in what, 12 years of investing in E and P, all credit to the other poster re mud logging.

As with all scribing PG related care has to be taken to filter out waffle and take the salient points.

There are various circumstances defining when and whether an operational update RNS can be released during 'tight hole' ops.

Agree with that, the prospectus is also of immense value with regard to ONHYM/PRD PSC.

Unfortunately most here have minimal experience of investing (betting) on wells and are grasping at straws re MOU-4.

It always comes down to the same core facts with micro E and P's. How much money have they got and what is happening next...

Zebra no spacetime to elaborate but simply put, for a tiny company which has just spent a huge percentage of it's cash on an expo well with equivocal results (at best) it is normal to see the mcap ie SP hammered.

The presence of a source kitchen is the only probable positive for MOU-1 but we await wireline analysis due to some hydrodynamic damage to the well bore. Seal, trap and reservoir formations are in doubt.

What I would concede though is the oddity of the opening price; new way of rinsing out punters? strange.

Problem is, all very interesting for geologists but horrifically expensive for investors. Not much propaganda re £15 today am I right?

Anyone with knowledge of gas supply to Eire understands that nothing is eagerly awaited! Landing gas from Corrib was an expensive and toxically political nightmare and little to nothing has been done to replace depleted reserves by drilling nearby prospects.

The sole people 'eagerly awaiting' an LNG essay were Steven and Paul.

Spaffed...
