It would be whatever the large shareholders would be happy with. Considering that BT's Capital expenditure on fibre alone is £15bln. A bid at that price would most certainly not be acceptable by almost every BT shareholder. IMO.

I agree, I gave up on a takeover bid 12 months ago. Drahi is skint and DT haven't added to their BT holding in 9 years, DT have little interest in BT. I think that DT wanted to offload to Drahi, but he's skint. Any bid would probably be turned down anyway. I would welcome a bid, but I'm being realistic, a bid isn't coming. So I'm like a lot of other BT shareholders stuck in a company who's share price continues to drift lower. Patience is needed until 2027 at the earliest. IMO.

As far as I know, S4 Capital issued new shares in each merger at 420p each, part cash and part shares. S4 just bought 6m shares from the market at around 40p, its a no brainer. I think that management should pay down debt and carry on buying shares back while the share price is down at this valuation.

I would be happy with a share price of 100p by financial year end 2024. Looking beyond.... 2025 & 2026, S4 Capital should be returning to growth and making a good profit with reduced debt. The latest analysts earnings forecasts are for almost break even for 2024, 2025 £20m profit, 2026 £57m profit. At this time frame I would be delighted with a share price of 200p plus. S4 Capital management need to get things right, as well as a strong economy with lower interest rates. Time will tell.

Quite right Longfell, at an average purchase price of around 0.40p, S4 would be looking at purchasing around 6.7m shares. With plans for further share buy backs in this financial year 2024.

3 large reported as sell trades totaling 4,669,922 shares. Hope that is the seller out.

Yes I did think that, I then thought that a lot of the share buy backs has taken place in the UT.

According to ADVFN data, since 11:50am today there has only been 5 buy trades v's 109 sell trades.

Based on the above we would normally expect to be down 5% or 6%, so this may be a positive that the share price is holding up well so far, only currently down 0.95%. It's looking like the only way the share price breaks above 43p is on good financial results and positive outlook.

I've just looked up the last high volume day according to investing.com was on 18/9/2023, volume was 15.6m share price closed at 74.8p. I don't know what the UT was on this date.
