I think that you're right Michael, this is just a tree shake, brokers want to acquire shares possibly an order to fill? Just speculating of cause. However, I've never seen large volumes of ADR's traded like over the past week. There were more shares traded in the US than the UK yesterday, that I would think is the first time. I would think that the potential predator is from the USA. Possibly Amazon. Not forgetting that Liberty have recalled their 9.9% holding from Goldman Sachs, maybe they have a buyer lined up. JMO.

Almost as many shares traded in the USA as UK. I've never known that before.

I've never seen volume like this over in the USA, average volume is about 10,000 shares.

733k yesterday & 405k last Friday.
If indeed someone is building a stake in ITV it won't take the market long to realise this and move the share price accordingly. getting interesting now. Hold the faith, ITV are still cheap @127p.

Goldman Sachs are rumoured to be behind manipulating this share price.

Hi Janus, usually it's the USA tail that wags the dog.

ITV should start the day at 126.10p, all things being equal. It will be interesting to see if the spoof sell trade at 126p will be either took off the table or taken out at some point. It's thought that this trade was intended to control the share price below 126p by Goldman Sachs.

Hi Davielad, the conversion rate is 10 ADR's per 1 UK ITV share. Current ADR price has dropped back with a large spread at the moment. Current price £17.30. %his would give a UK share price of 124.40p.

Further to add. The current ADR price is up $1 @ $17.93. If this holds it will be a new year high beating previous high of $17.59 back in March 9/3/21.
