I think behind the scenes is the key word here.
Though frustrating at times having to wait, at least we get a straight this is how it is, no spin like some other AIM shares. Next a licence and we are going mining!!!!
Martin said in presentations early this year that the DFS would start with low estimates, so could not understand why people sold out this week. Hopefully now funding in place we can now look forward to be a mining company. Happy days,
From Share Magazine. 0.769p Gain to date: 24% High-grade drill results (6 Mar) set the scene for a busy few weeks ahead for North River Resources (NRRP:AIM) which we reckon has the potential to become one of the best-performing junior mining stocks of 2014. About time we got some exposure
Yes It would of been nice at 1p but still. They had to find funding one way or another in the current climate. Now if they do another placing in 3 months I will be not so happy.
I agree runner. I have been here long time and I am getting more confident each RNS. I may do another top-up.
North River Resources plc is pleased to announce that it has conditionally raised gross proceeds of approximately £800,000 through a placing of 133,333,332 new Ordinary Shares of £0.002 each (the "Placing Shares") through its brokers, Ocean Equities and VSA Capital, at a price of 0.6 pence per Ordinary Share (the "Placing"). The placing was over-subscribed. The funds are to be used to expedite North River's next phase of works at its flagship Namib Lead Zinc mine project. This will include resource drilling and estimation, metallurgical work and the work-up of a feasibility study. Well I suppose this was inevitable and at least the Directors participated.
0.689p was a top up
I think 22nd may but this is just from memory
This has just come interesting
'we are excited about the future of North River and look forward to keeping shareholders regularly updated on developments.' lol

Now to start reading, looks like we now know 2012 vision
How predictable 08:02 500000 sold at 1.60, Tomorrow 08:01 500000 bought at 1.68
From Baobab's interim results. I assume this is good Baobab's Tete project. The Joint Venture is structured such that Baobab may earn an increasing participatory interest in the Project of up to 90% through funding three prescribed stages. Stage 1 is all but complete; earning Baobab a 60% holding in the project and the Company will be entering discussions with North River as to their interest in participating pro-rata for Stage 2.
