I think I prefer the shorters than the rampers, jesus its constant drivel, its like listening to a gang of kids on the playground. Stuff does actually go up and believe it or not, it will actually go down too.

Basically, yes. Trades are measured against the mid point of the ask and the bid to determine if its a buy or sell. The displayed ask and bid is rarely correct compared to trying a dummy buy or sell. Hence trades are frequently incorrectly coded. Anyway for every trade there is a buyer and a seller.

How are you working out more buys than sells? Just because it's coded blue doesn't mean its a buy. So many trades are wrongly coded, it's a worthless metric.

So Aviva buy back and cheapo aviva shares pre ex, your telling us there isnt more buys than sells?

At 8.ocklock ftse 7344.44 Aviva 413p, at 1.0 ocklock ftse 7366.33 , aviva 409p, and more buys than sells. total shte show

You should have purchased NWG yesterday it went ex divi today and the price is where it closed yesterday, free money 10p per share.
Like many I was a bit slow with that one but did have a large one with MnG when they thought there was going to be a buy out, did a top slice and stayed in with the remaining for the Div, its down at the moment but have a fair average, Aviva and Lng next, Yum

Sad when anoraks have to trail through old posts to come up with naf all.

Will be interesting to see where this ends up in the coming days , also added more for the next chunky Div, it normally sits higher than this pre Div so bit of a gift really
