My posting doesn't make any sense. I loudly said weeks ago, the only way for this was decline, and nobody agreed with me,since then nothing but decline. It cannot grow, it goes down and stays down. It may not make any sense, and I'm not overly bright, but my eyes are open and that seems to be an advantage I have above some.

Then why not just get out and fark off into the ether...

The sript has already been written and it follows the same old pattern, introduce fear and shake the weak, pile back in, rinse repeat , its a market and not rocket science

Many who bought in the 216s will be cashing in over the coming days, mainly more sells as market getting ready for rate increase news, market edging down the same

Its a dividend income share and has remained resiliant through some pretty tough times, most normal investors on here are more than happy with the performance of LnG , considering it was in the 260s a few days ago and offers the opportunity as a good entry point for newcomers at 230s ,your posting does not make any sense

So the ftse is the highest its been in 5 days yet everything is down

It matters not unless you need the money! great entry to serious investors inline for next months dividend

Maybe even more confidence considering how quickly this comes back, been here a few time now , first discovered this throught he pandemic and bought as many as I could get my hands on as they where one of the few still paying a dividend, sold out also to move into Bp, But after the recent rise decided that LnG was still a better Dividend play along with Aviva so jumped back in, happy to be here for the long haul

We all know this sits quite happy around 245- 255 range consistantly, every now and again it dips due to world issues, If I had some more dry powder I would be buying more ,I am in big with this but I do sleep ok

Im stuck at 446 in the isa but had a small amount in my normal account and bought at 407 and flicked em 415,hardly worth it I know but then I thought id be clever and re buy the small amount at 404 thinking the next rung up would be 425 and id flick em again, PMSL , last time I looked they where nearer the 400, so might even keep those as well and have the Div unless the market calms and they regain their normal range , looking unlikely though, dont forget they where 380s when trussanomics kicked em in september so could even revisit something similar knowing my luck,Doh...

Its a hard situation when you have cash in your Isa coming toward ex div time, L&g ex around the same time so used it all up and I sold some Aviva to feed L&G and MnG as would achieve a larger Dividend payout , I now only hold the three, I normally have some dry left, but went all in as have done in the past, then shte happens , my balls have turned to crystal and are about to shatter, Im now back in the long game, Divs I will probably now save up and wont compound again till the Greedy wall street bnkrs end up Jumping from their ivory towers and Putin dies of old age or cancer, as none of his gangsta mates are brave enough to snuff him out

Slider, you should tell your friend to invest her £60k in at least 4 blue chip companies across different sectors to derive a dividend income. Diversifying your portfolio is a must tick box especially if you’re not actively managing your investments. If £60k is 10% of her P/F then she probably doesn’t need your advice! :-))

Trouble is it would now probably only worth 50k so better sitting on it till the Americans get nuked

Im avrgng 246p and my biggest holding , now looking a bit painfull, been here before though so will just suck up the dividend , this could also turn on a sixpence leading up to ex as has done so many times before, I might even start saving up the Divs instead of re-investing, not that happy about compounding anymore when its this volatile
