Markets are overly corrupt, pumped up then dumped to earn pre div then followed by a push down, maybe investors havent piled in pre div so its been simmulated as most others div shares havent seen the usual rise pre div either

Its a really sad affair when you have to use the Divs paid over long term to justify the miserable loss in share value, that puts you at evens or a small profit or loss for you investments. just seem such a waste of time and stress

I certainly wouldnt be dealing shares, just buy , sit tight and and get used to the big dippers, lots on here brag about how they bought at the bottom etc, but they fail to mention the losses, this is your cash tied up for a good few years

Just relieved I didnt reinvest the last divi , that would have just been eroded as the ftse tanks yet again
