Helpful/ anyone... got view on Mayans Austin chalk wells vs article below?
It's all desperately hard work on aim at moment.... nothing moving on possibility of news, or even on good news.... market needs to see hard revenues and cash flows to move SPs.... that's why this potential short term multi bags....+ve cash flow could start v soon
Ars debacle yesterday highlights why FS absolutely cannot be late.... and based on company tweet sounds like it won't be.... so that really means it has to be next week.... my guess is Monday.
If can be accompanied in short order with positive news on funding then the SP will see big forward move.
Personally I think one of current shareholders will either up their holding or make a full offer soon after FS.
Kevin van Wouw got a lot invested here.... the copper is proven, the ore is available and being mined.... fujax are in place buying all production....hard to believe kvw won't find a way to fix the process to get output up..... as miners go it's a very interesting bet I'd say.
The news that matters is they are operating 1st at breakeven, with a route to get near nameplate and c. $1m pcm profit.... Nov b/e and profitable sometime in Dec is my guess..... Will be hard to believe 1.2p sp if achieve that.
Ok, additional shares.... but I doubt they'll be selling. The holder(s) has good info on what this can do.... reach nameplate or near and equity is worth many multiples.... back where it was a few months ago... 6 to 7 p at least.
Board stated a 2 week review to end of October to assess which assets to prioritise, post Eddie, which makes sense.... so last week Oct or first week Nov for preliminary news. I would then guess 30 days or so to make significant progress on well work overs.
Should also be news on Forest Hills by 1st week Nov at latest.
Lot to go for... lot of oil at FH property + still the significant gas at Stockdale... + new wells at Austin chalk..... just needs good planning and the right technical expertise in the work over process.
Realistically might take a few months... but if can get to cash positive and then move production up from there it could easily be back at 1p in 2019.
Hzm is extremely profitable already at $12,000...npv c. $600m based on old presentations (from memory, dyor), I guess more now in the BFS due imminently. The 15p broker target was at (again from memory, dyor) $13,200 (with no valuation for Vermehlo!). I think nickel price had to be $9,000 for no economic benefit from previous company presentations.
I suspect a bit of poker playing from vale.... they'll be buying nickel assets well before price reaches $20,000!!....

Interview on Vermehlo. Would be useful if the company could quantify some ball park value to Vermehlo.
Do you know ...at forest hills .... this is a big property....potentially lot of oil to go for.... once access is resolved... do Mayan have rights to the whole property or just specific wells? Thanks
Blockbuster BFS about to drop, high energy marketing campaign, nickel price forecasts generally bullish.... high chance of take out by current shareholder. 2nd asset Vermehlo, has huge potential...only in broker forecast of 15p at cost. Hard to believe this isn't making new highs.... my guess is it will be by next week at latest.
Definitely has that buyout smell to it. Questions are who, what price for how much of the company? Personally I suspect one of current shareholders will take it out in full soon after BFS and the final permits are approved....
Company have stated 80 bopd would be breakeven... clearly that means net to Mayan. Given downtime etc this has to be an average. It is of course 'not enough' but would be a very significant first step to put the business on a firm footing. I would expect an announcement of robust breakeven output see the sp rise significantly from the current level especially if combined with access to Forest Hills and the significant opportunities there.
According to my calender we are in the letter part of Oct tomorrow....BFS is in the post... expect huge ramp up in HZM News flow.... and price action
