The MMs are still trying to make the share price look weak, yet they will still take 1.75m shares.
They certainly have a buyer out there at these prices.

There is the matching 250,000 delayed buy!

So going back to an example, say we are expecting a $100m Ebitda for 2018 and we spent the majority of this say $70m on projects such as Vametco improvements etc, this would still give us an Ebitda of $100m.

Maccas, anything spent by BMN which is capitalised on the balance sheet has no effect on EBITDA.

EBITDA is also not affected by the depreciation on these items as EBITDA is before any depreciation charges are taken into account.

No capital items will ever affect EBITDA. They do however have a small effect on profits after tax due to the depreciation on those items.

Hope that makes sense.

Alastair, no those costs would be capitalised on the balance sheet and would then be depreciated over the next 15 to 20 years, so the affect would be minimal on the profits for the year.

Alistair, looking at the shipping data for the US, we should be due a stonking Q1 Vametco update!
