RE: Fellowship on BMR board27 Jan 2020 12:39
No real reason to be upset with BMRWatch - a collection of some >20% of shareholders who have been quite reasonable in terms of requests. The issue seems to be that BMRWatch may call for an EGM and as part of the voting may suggest Director changes... all very reasonable to me. For some reason, the removal of a Director seems to mean immediate liquidation. No company law I've ever read of would mean that's the case... it may mean some difficulty in re-listing, but to be completely honest who cares: some of the most valuable companies on earth are privately held, so although selling shares would be difficult, the royalty would have to be paid out via some sort of dividend stream (or similar to existing shareholders). Hardly rocket science!?
