Tbh this share is so low now a few of us to club together and do a buy out. And then we can do what the management should have done and turn it into a shell while waiting for royalties. I'm sure we could sell all of their recent projects/licencing, sack the board and rid them of their wages and the go private as a dormant co. awaiting future royalties... Just a thought haha
Here***
Even the management know it's bad when they hide financial results in an after close RNS. Either a very long term hold and hope, or a sell and count your losses. Extremely poor showing -- and to think this relisted at ~3pps. How this Board gets funded I have no idea, and am genuinely only hear as a consequence of BMR and am quite stubborn about it!
Bought more for a laugh. Over a million of these now at 65% down (from BMR days). Looking forward to never letting this company forget we're due something for royalties from JLP at some point. Re funding, wtf knows. This is a dog of a share.
Expect good news followed by a share issue that only insiders can participate in. Pretty standard for companies like this.
Feel like we should mention it every so often to remind the bod that we won't forget... Shambles this company, surely the royalty is about all it's got going for it?!
Don't we still hold the royalty (due from JLP)? Or is that something the Directors would like us to conveniently forget?
What it comes down to is that the CEO won't admit he was wrong about his over ambitious timeframes. The most powerful skill in the world is having the ability to admit you were wrong. Not enough leaders have it.
There's always a way of getting a message across - it's called semantics (and 5 year old children use it!).
"We write to update you on the progression of JV... As reported on xxx, we agreed the deal in principle with AA. Subsequently, we have been working with xx on the important work of clarifying the legal aspects of the venture, including licenses etc. We previously suggested a timeline of a few months and I take this opportunity to update shareholders that our assessment of timeframe was inaccurate. We look forward to updating shareholders soon once further progress has been made and will continue to liaise with our Zambian partners on all outstanding issues. We also take this opportunity to provide an update on cashflow. As at xxx, we have xxx cash at hand. We deem this to be sufficient (or not) to cover operational expenditure during our reassessed timelines".
^probably nonsense and made up on the spot, but draft something like this, get legal to review it and Bob's your uncle^ - not difficult!
Really annoying how long this is taking! Surely an update rns is in order (radio silence in financials was promising, bit only if real news follows ). Very long term holder here who probably has less funds than Arc! Haha
People always get caught up in this argument that high yields are unsustainable... if the share price was £1.20 the yield would be far lower and cash payment identical, so really nothing to do with sustainability of payments at all 🤦♂️
The company is either in bad shape because of something we don't know (in which case huge insider trading) or is cheap and a 20% yield is the potential reward -- why would they cut the dividend during an active BB period?!
To be honest, I'd probably cut the dividend and rapidly buy back more shares (assuming all is ok with the company), but unless such action is taken I can't see Divi being cut
I'd take 1.5p to be out of the shuite show - 15 years of the same regurgitation of commentary. Concluding that this was a transitional period is utterly laughable. Whoever compared these results to a corner shop is correct. PXS is and always has been a shambles. I'm in it because it was my first ever investment and I'm too stubborn to get out, but I wouldn't touch a company like this as the modern version of myself.
Small caps never seem to move on fundementals - haha!
Sounds like an AIM share to me... But mcap was ludicrously low tbf
Pure isn't delisting from all stock markets !
If you would like to hold, but today and get average down. Otherwise, you should've sold anyway.
Absolutely horrific share, but no justification for such a huge drop based on today's news
