2) Anavio converting bonds/selling shares in November would be a sell signal to me (towards balance, them not doing this would be a buy signal to me)

The upside of this being 30 odd m gbp market cap currently is that its not far to get to 50m gbp market cap .. and Micro Cap fund do indeed take above 50m gbp market cap as a benchmark to them allowing themselves consider buying into a stock !

Mr - sometimes wise - Owl is very well researched and one hell of a talker upper, granted - and a hugely entertaining poster generally too -.. but he's way too dreamy with it imho

I hold or have held 30 ish oilers in the 2015 to 2023 window - including cashing in here in 3p to 30p spike in 2016..and etc on smaller spikes since - and I see the World as changed UTTERLY re what gets you multibagging in this game now versus back in the day: I think Mr Owl is way too bullish on ten bags here on Heron production.. 10p here would be a very good achievement around then imho.. and I'd be sold down/out plenty before that .. but you've got to take a view ...and everyone is entitled to their opinion.. and great to have the some pumper for one pumper - hopefully in the without feather, Sir context too - Owl back here !

This share would test the patience of a saint .. but for whatever reason(s) I remain very comfortable being long and strong here..(although at approx 50% down - as I type - on my 10k gbp bet here holding this share is a character building experience.... but I could be open to meaningfully averaging down early in 2024 to help that situation out )

PFCVet below post feels like a nice synopsis on why I'm comfortable in my bet here, thank you.... and in spite of the complications I do see this as a potential takeover target still.

Towards balance, I've always understood that a raise here later in 23 or into 24 to fortify the balance sheet was/is a possibility, granted.. and I understand why risk averse players would avoid this .. but it's a decent risk reward picture in my mind and could readily enough get back decently into the 100 to 150p range in 2024, I feel

PS Just looked back on Doggger69 posting history over the last month.. in a nutshell 'it's all over' everywhere .. he's a funny guy .. but I feel his time is wasted on these BB's when he has dogging and 69' ing as alternative entertainment

Production meaningfully up in October and then again in November is the most immediate gamechanger required here imho.. that kinda must happen in my mind now.. else 1.9p might even be looked back on as a selling opportunity December time, alas

(towards balance, the JV discussions in the background should offer some sort of break on any possible further falls here granted.... and towards further balance good production growth in Oct and Nov should facilitate a strong rally here)

More funding required because - extremely likely - this business continues to not remotely progress as quickly as management expects/ed it too...

A sad state of affairs.... and the pretty recent board room in fighting likely to do with the credibility of the existing CEO and CFO in the eyes of the wider board I expect... And such concerns appear increasingly appropriate I'm more and more feeling !!

Towards something positive in this post: thankful that at least there is this source of funding, that continues to believe in the company

(That Rick Rule interview semi interested me .. we all take different things from it, of course.. my biggest takeaway is that the occasional big wins cover over the plentiful smaller hits from the inevitable dog bets that even good players make in this sector.. because, for one reason or other, there are soooo many small cap exploration names that turn out to be car crashes for shareholders, alas)

That's a fair and reasonable shout..... and, ironically, I see big picture as Mr Bird's strength more than small picture ..ouch

( he's very consistent in leaving much room for improvement in smaller picture stuff such as timely RNS feedback eg Assays reporting from down the Bush(Ranger)... and where the buck is q2 manica figures RNS as another eg !!)

Across the gambit of small caps - I normally say AIM, but this doggy isn't AIM - I'm very confident that, mathematically, the 'rampers' are actually worse than the 'derampers'.. because, on average, rampers cost shareholders more money than derampers; as many many small cap co's, for one reason or other, turn out to be car crash 'Investments' for medium/longterm buy/hold shareholders, sadly

To me, that's one of the more interesting posts here today, Careful, thanks... and, while I'm still far from certain, I've been moving towards thinking the same as you on Anavio indeed - short - selling this hard down off the back of those $4m worth of shares they had incoming....

More generally, I'm feeling they've become more and more aggressive players here as they've gone - maybe off the back of protecting their own balance sheet as far more funding from them has been required here than they first envisaged- and that adds another layer of 'trickiness' - re how this s/p might play out here in the coming months - on top of the very significant 'trickiness' generally here already, alas... and makes strong month on month production growth for the remainder of 2023 - not to mind q1 24 - even more crucial to this share price direction thru the remainder of 2023 ( eg Anavio more readily open to converting bonds and dumping more shares here thru Oct, Nov and Dec - if production growth is not meaningfully progressive month on month in Oct, Nov and Dec- than many posting would care to recognise)

Hopefully it's not rocket science .. but if it is and wasn't going as smoothly/quickly as hoped.. who to call ?

I was hoping for a s/p bounce here today.. but when the share price action here annoys me (one more time) I remind myself that the GGS gives us punters a first bite at the cherry.. And a potential JV a second bite at the cherry .....

Happy to stand corrected on this but Ford and Thygesen hold no shares in this company and Silberstein a very small holding. I'd trust the XTR board an awful lot more if those three of its four members bought a chunk of shares here!

Given this s/p is totally, utterly and completely flat on its face currently, if Board members - bar Mr Bird- won't buy shares in the open market here around now when will they ever? (And if not, WHY NOT?)

Are Hannam not one of COPL's two Company Brokers? So there might be a reasonable possibility that report of theirs might not be the most balanced in the world...

(Flat is one thing .. but the classic trickle on down if news that could be reasonably expected - eg q2 Manica - but is slow to be delivered has a punchy cumulative downward s/p effect ....... so, towards giving some impression of professionalism by you and your staff, stop your messing Mr Colin Bird and get out the Manica q2 numbers asap.... )

PS: the 'unknown' trade just printed here for 75,000 shares is a buy .. my latest buy..

(I continue to do my bit here.. and, including all circumstances, I'm genuinely surprised more buying is not occurring around these s/p levels around now)
