OPL 310 is in the sea off South West Nigeria.. and OPL 325 is in the Sea off South - South - West Nigeria too .. and assuming two letter code is the rule, W for West could indeed work .. as maybe better than an S to deliniate from existing save.l Nigeria businesses ..

..but Otakikipo and OPL 276 are in swampland bordering the sea in South Nigeria .. and other OPL Blocks that the company might easily bit for in the future are in the sea South or South West of Nigeria and hence why I compromised on Water(residing) :-)

Towards positivity, I echo other posters offerings that the s/p is already awfully low versus the existing assets, revenues and potential profits here now.. so any downside should be very limited from here I'd expect..and there's clearly good potential for plenty of upside too.

(One caveat, on s/p downside is that whenever that Tilapia Licence does get awarded, It's very important it's to zen.l .. my strong feeling remains that zen.l will get it in the end )

I think John said he sold out of this kinda recently trading4good.. so at least he was long here previously.. and I have a feeling from his posting that was more long than short term long too .... but I accept that now he's out he's all for this going further down to prove him right and/or maybe to buy some back lower again.... So me expecting him to show balance and call out Smalleyus' brutal deramping campaign is likely folly, I kinda get.. but if he had decency/ balance about him .. etc..

Alternatively; there is a need for wider awareness of what we - hope we- have here .... and there is a need for increasing traded volume.. and -from the 50+ AIM commodity stocks, mostly O&G granted, I've been in over the years, including a few brand plate JV's /Farm Outs/Mergers/Outright sales.. etc- it very rarely is that simple.

Clearly you john4242, and sundry longtermers, have had a hard journey so far here, but if there's an unambigously good news RNS next then the s/p price will go up meaningfully from such lowly levels imho eg it did earlier this year..

But, for meaningful and sustained rises then the one after that.. etc.. needs to be unambigously good too.. and if it/ they're average or poor then the s/p will very likely react downwardly again as is the way of things in this brutal game..

Given more recent -from earlier in year - RNS's here been underwhelming, I do not think its unreasonable that this s/p came strongly off that 17p ish high of earlier in year... my argument is that fall has been well overdone though and 9 to 10p area would be more fair and reasonable now instead of 7p.. Also there's a good to very good chance of unambigously good - bottom line - news RNS's to come again here soon enough too imho .. hence there's a reasonable to good chance this s/p could get back towards 15p soon enough here too, I feel

A bigger picture point about Tunisia is that it's zen.l Africa Implementation capability reference point. It would be 'nice' to be able to show they can manage/grow existing live field(s) Operations well.

Implementation capability is the big question mark over this co, imho.. and a good Africa implementation case study would encougage more new Africa implemetation project wins more quickly imho.. while a bad one would have the opposite effect.

Tunisia implementations so far might, in the round, be categorised as average, is my guess.. although I await a broad based detailed update on Tunisia Operations to clarify my current best guess on this.

I'd first guessed it was you buying NS.. having thought about it at great great length.. but clearly not, so..

unlikely it's FK1 ...although him buying a big chunk on the quiet and then saying he'd changed his mind and now saw this as a buy would be fun :-)
