The fact is you misinterpreted what a negotiated settlement meant - yes you can cite global sales and fair value as many times as you want but you didn't factor in the discount for value of time and money. So you were not complete in your analysis. Unlike the professionals.

Nanonano I agree with most of what you say but don't agree with the sentiment you seem to be portraying.

The STM initial order would appear to me to allow STM to produce samples for evaluation purposes. They never guided they were at the tipping point for large scale commercialisation, only that they were capable of it. The order was the first commercial order and the two statements shouldn’t be conflated.

Had the company said we expect an initial small order to be fulfilled and to be repeated quickly in larger volumes in the next 6-12 months that would be one thing and the current silence would be concerning but that’s not what the said.

They said they believe it’s unlikely that the product is in any device. However they do expect demand to grow to a point that they are Cash Break Even at some point in FY25.

So they are doing what they said. Any criticism is impatience.

You just didn’t understand it. You got carried away without appreciating any of the possible and more likely outcomes. The court action was about leveraging and all the findings simply ratcheted up the case against-but it was always fraught with risk. You and many others including TH ignored them and convinced yourself after listening to other similarly minded individuals that there was only one logical outcome.

Undergroundking it is all very unnecessary and it's really only down to a few impatient souls who got the settlement wrong and blame the company and it's management - and these people who are supposedly invested. As far as I can see the company has set out expectations for BE FY25 and that's what they should be measured on. Same goes for the return of capital....they have until Dec to fulfill that commitment. Not this week or next.

Nanoco have developed platform technology. They have engaged with the world’s leading technology companies to commercialise the product. You should be criticising STM. In fact why stop there, criticise Apple, in fact give yourself a shake and buy the products using our technology! Except your choices are limited to a Samsung TV or a non existent device using as yet to be adopted technology.

I would like to see more PR and perhaps that will come but it does come at a cost. I work for a niche company with very little competition- the market could saturate with any more entrants. We don’t do much PR and prefer to rely on the quality of our product and years of experience in the field. Advertising is something we definitely don’t do…..our customer knows us. Nanoco will I’m sure stop hiding under a bushel once the tech gains traction….assuming Nanoco are the enabling tech of course.
