Lets take MYSQ as an example.

They are not in profit or break even. So lets take 1.8m as cost x 4 years to develop the platform = 7.2m

This will take time and effort to develop from scratch and in that time other companies could also try to replicate MYSQ.

Also how long will it take to gain 6/7 million unique users.

We need a few buyers interested as well as Atlas ready to fund MYSQ. Which would help MYSQ in any negotiations.

IA this work out for us all, we know the potential of MYSQ, we just need potential buyers to see this too.

1p per share and 1.8m for Atlas will put a valuation on MYSQ of just under 11m.

Mysq current revenue is 5k per day which is roughly 1.8m a year. Unsure what the costs are at this moment in time with staff being made redundant.

If Chong and Austin can show MYSQ has valuable products then maybe Tencent or another company could buy out the business.

I personally think Tencent didn't want to take MYSQ over in January but personally think they wanted to tie up something with MYSQ. I think if MYSQ kept growing them Tencent would have launched a takeover.

Had a look on the company website last week and I am sure the total number of shares in issue was 917m, had a look now and it says 918m.
