I was diagnosed with PC over 5 years ago.

Had the PSA test, nothing really significant showed but referred for Ultra Scan which was inconclusive, then an MRI that highlighted a "shadow" but again, inconclusive so referred for biopsy (not a pleasant experience but results were 5 + 4 on the Gleason Scale. As a guide they add the two scores together, 1 is great, below 5 manageable with drugs like hormone therapy. 6 or above requires treatment and obviously my score at 9 was very high risk of the PC metastacising and spreading to other organs or bones. Had surgery, prostate removed and assessed, I was very, very lucky the margin was clear. My point is that the above took nearly a year to complete with long gaps between each procedure. This test could/will significantly reduce the time to go from a blood test to surgery or radiotherapy. It also almost eliminates false negatives avoiding much of the above for those without PC.

It's a game changer for real people and trust me when you those words "sorry the test show you have cancer" your world collapses and the it's a race against time.
