I'm not negative on OBD at all but I cannot believe how many novice traders there are. I mean paying almost 40p when it was 10p the day before in a day traders market a lot of people are clearly new to this game and have a lot to learn. When a stock is up 300% in a day you just accept you have missed the boat and move onto the next share, too many people sitting on fantastic profits ready to sell on your buys

Report and filter, works for me as all I can see are green boxes, much nicer than wasting time engaging with toffer the troll.

Very similar to what happened previously in the mid 30s when buyers were paying 40p MMs dropped it back to shake out some stock and no doubt some took quick profits (it's a market after all). Now it's 50p back to the mid 40s, rinse and repeat tactics to shake out some more before the next move up, IMO fwiw anyway.

Some suggest obd won't be able to charge $750 or more per test. Well right now clients will pay whatever it costs due to short term limited availability . If millions of tests are potentially out there for the best test then selling a few hundred thousand won't be a challenge until obd can scale up to more ubstantial capacity. I expect they could be swamped. Their problem is going to be how fast they can move to processing millions of tests rather than hundreds of thousands.

Like I said, their rules may have forced the sale regardless once OBD holding went above a % threshold of their portfolio. The fact they managed to move such a large volume so easily says it all for me here.

I have seen cases where an insti investor has rules about both min and max % value of their portfolio they are authorised to keep on their books, it protects them from becoming too exposed or dependant to any single investment, no matter how good it's prospects are. eg they may have a portfolio with £xxx value and single company can only represent up to say 5% of the whole portfolio. Its fairly common practice.

And of course there's the valuable IP and the company's assets too, to me it looks like TNT are effectively paying them to take it private. Wonder why?

It will cost the offeror next to nothing to "buyout" TNT in reality.

Swap say 70% of TNT shares for newco shares, cost = zero

Buy half the remainder at 150p = £3.8m

Receive the cash balance in the bank = say £5m?

Pay the CLIN off = £3m

Net Cost before expenses = £1.8M

Pretty good deal eh?

Do you know what % of the total shares in issue they hold is?

Management have stated publicly they and various significant holders are minded to accept the offer...

So RS and Co will simply sell their shares for 150p then.....hmmmmm

Really? I say again, clueless assumption. How many of the 17m shares in issue will the offeror be buying at £1.50?
