C4XD announced a significant ($11m) milestone payment from AstraZeneca on 3 January, under a licensing deal with Astra Zeneca, signed in November 2022. Under the agreement, AstraZeneca received an exclusive global licence for the NRF2 Activator programme. In return, C4XD received a $2m upfront payment and is eligible for pre-clinical milestone payments totalling $14m and a further $386m in clinical and commercial milestone payments. AstraZeneca are developing the drug as a treatment for a number of inflammatory conditions and the market for these is worth $60bn. The category includes Sickle Cell Disease, IBD and lung diseases such as COPD. We shall be meeting the CEO later in January.

The English rule provides that the party that loses in court pays the other party's legal costs. The English rule contrasts with the American rule, under which each party is generally responsible for paying its own attorney fees (unless a statute or contract provides for that assessment).

Incredible how negative this board has become since the court case outcome, you would think that CPX had nothing else to offer without winning that case which is utterly ridiculous.

We Wobble continually attacking the new CEO with outrageous claims that he was an inside man for Tesla and ensured Tesla won the case, never have I read so much utter bllx.

Now we have another poster (or 2) that want to go on about legal costs exposure as if it will sink the company completely.

Shame that too many came here rainbow chasing big potential returns from a positive outcome and now the world is ending for CPX and it's all down to Lars according to Wobble and the company will be bankrupted by legal costs according to others.

Fine carry on making those claims, I will be adding on any falls as I expect to see a robust and comprehensive update from CPX next on their actual growth to date and their likely further growth from new products and distributors. Add to the the new JV confirmed recently and future is actually very much better for CPX than it has been before. The fact the shares are trading at just 0.6p giving an mcap of just £4m suggest this is very much under valued and over sold. Time will tell if I am right or wrong here.

Clearly you are ignoring everything else about CPX and the updated broker Note commentary that was issued after the court case result. That's your choice. Guess you want in cheaper or have sold?

Focusing on the court case serves little useful purpose here. If it as bad as some are suggesting then why hold and keep posting negatively? If I felt that way I would simply move on.

Company has made plenty of positive announcements, broker sentiment remains positive and yet too many can only talk about the court case here.

Keep talking your own investment down, that's a great idea.
