I'm not going to be popular here so it will probably be my only post.
I joined this forum because I am a novice to investing and thought I might learn some useful information.
I have been watching this site for a few weeks, I haven't posted because I didn't think that someone with zero knowledge had anything to say worth sharing, I am now certain that I was wrong so I will tell you all what I have learnt.
(1) Most of the people on here who have shares in SCGL have no more idea what is going to happen to their investment than I do.
(2) Whilst some like me will have thrown in a few pounds for a bit of entertainment in the hope of getting lucky, some are constantly talking of topping up and averaging down seemingly without the slightest thought that we may just be pouring our cash down the drain.
(3) Many have spoken about their charts, confidently predicting what the next move will be, only to be proven wrong day after day when they talk of the last big sellers dropping out and then it's off to the moon.
(4) This should be a site where grown ups can exchange views and information whilst maybe having a laugh along the way, but a lot of the time it is like when the kids get on Facebook after school. There seem to be a few voices of reason on here, they know who they are, but the rest of the time it seems to be full of idiots. What is it about social media that makes adults
behave in a way that most children would be ashamed of ?
There are too many many on here who think their cat is blacker than everyone elses. Why can't you people accept that you don't have a crystal ball and don't have a clue what is going to happen, and that most on here don't give a toss how much money or property you say you have because if this ship sinks you are all going down together.
