RE: GGP: Haverion Hole 5 [HAD005]11 Oct 2018 17:20
When the assays come out from Haverion Hole 5, expected in 6 weeks ie [from 1 Oct 2018] = 14 Nov 2018 timing approximately, we will actually know the RESULTS down to the GRADES, minerals since we know the intersections already.
From the detailed RNS, one does some idea especially if one checks the historical Newcrest drills at Haverion, all the junior miners results in Paterson Province especially those in the EL PASO STRUCTURAL CORRIDOR and matched against Newcrest Telfer mine results. Greatland Gold*s Haverion is in the El Paso Structural Corridor to the rumoured Rio big copper gold find [Ref: Antipa presentation from Diggers and Dealers Aug 2018].
However, it would be tempting faith if one were to indulge in interpretation - hence why even GGP is not keen to speculate but I am sure they also have some idea given their extensive experience.
It would have been interesting to see the core from Hole 5 and the Rio core.
Hole 5 at Haverion is the opening gambit to the 24 holes that Gervaise Heddle hopes to do at Haverion to prove whether it is a big find or major find [Ref: Finding the Motherlode, iii by Lee Wild, Analyst in an interview with Gervaise Heddle]. In that said ref article, from recall, the co hopes for a "RE-VALUATION" if it is a ? or ? which is an accounting term which is positive as opposed to devaluation?
It is common knowledge that for a junior miner to have a re-valued share price and by extension mkt cap, it usually has to be followed by the hole results and grade, depth etc.
Classic historical example Solg wherein they also did 24 holes as advised by Dr Bruce Rohlach. At Hole 15/16, Maxit entered the stage and at Hole 17 appox, BHP provided an investment proposal of which was refused due to Mather not agreeing and he later said he will not give it away?
Not saying this is Solg because Gervaise Heddle pointed out in his interview that GGP have to prove it is a big find or a MAJOR discovery. Until the 10 holes are done, we will not have any idea. However, the 1st opening Hole 5 is therefore insightful.
The Solgold example is just an illustration to show that it needs proving to some extent and since it is historical, it is just a benchmark to explain what Gervaise Heddle was talking about in the said ii interview.
One can provide other classic examples but I was not present at the Oyu Tolgoi drill so cannot comment and give that example. I am sure others who have seen other potential big finds can share their own experience?
To read Finding the Motherlode, ii by Lee Wild, just type the title into the search engine.
Hence, why I am personally waiting for these first few opening Holes at Haverion [10 holes starting with HAD005].
One notes that GeoDave is entering today ie buying [Thurs, 11 Oct 2018] as per his post as he awaits also the exciting hole/s results to come.
Just explaining as TomE has asked so I have ventured to provide an overview.
DYOR. IMHO.
