NORTHSTAR CHARTS
In the same thread, Stef Van de Velde commented: Belgium was 120, now 390."
One poster in the thread also commented and said that they should look for GAS PRODUCERS TO HEDGE.
HEAT PUMPS
Recently, I read that it would cost some or up to £18,000.
Whilst I was out, i decided to check in case this figure was too wide. In specie, it stated online 6-8kw horizontal ground source heat pump usually cost around £10k-£12,500. Larger 12Kw £15,500 -£17,500.
So, on top of the gas and electricity bills, if heat pumps have to be installed and not just new homes from recall, the cost is not little.
SOLAR
Online it stated "average payback period of solar PV is anywhere from 12-26 years.
From recall, this is also expensive to install depending on the size of the installation.
ELECTRIC CARS
At some stage, that is also going to be necessary by x date given petrol etc cars are going to be phased out. I gather that with electric meters, if there is a stress on the system, then the supplier can cut off the electricity by auto? Electric cars are also not cheap.
So, others can contribute if they know more or the latest.
