Not sure he actually said that tbh, I recall him say along the lines of it takes 12-18 months for the asset to be reflected in the companies valuation .... don't think he said the bit "after a major oil price drop..".

As for "wait for oil prices to recover before offloading anything", that surely depends upon the end game. The higher the POO the more the assets will cost, true, but then possibly less likely for the sale to be made also ..... all about what is acceptable for both parties at a given point in time.

By default, re-rate to cash ~£22/share means the £12.52 gap gets filled, does it not !

I would be disappointed if our stable flow rate comes out less than 7000boepd. So payback on this drill will be rapid, possibly only a matter of little more than few months imo. Shows confidence in both company aspirations and financial security too.

70 days on the surface of it appears to be a little generous, I would also have thought ACW would have managed to get a very good deal too. Great to see SQZ looking to add substantial production H1 2021.

You are correct, for our 2018 results SQZ were quite happy to quote our cash position at end of Q1 2019 within the April YE Presentation for 2018. This year for 2019 ..... no such cash position was mentioned. I think your assumption "NED specialising in M&A activity that has led to keep the balance quiet" may well be correct, either that or we paid a hefty amount of bills so didn't want to highlight this ! SQZ did however include this in the April EoY presentation "“With significant cash balances at year end, no borrowings or major commitments, strong ongoing production and flexibility in controlling forward budgets, we are in a very strong position...". Or it could just have been down to the logistics of getting an accurate CoH figure for Q1 with the disruption of Covid, as this was mentioned as to why they were later than normal.

If true, would make sense for him to cash in now, with his personal pot of gold, could repeat RRE once more with some bargain buys / IPO late 2020, early 2021, with, I guess, no shortage of investors willing to invest. Probably an easier route to riches than trying to to get RRE to £50/s atm. aimo

Now all you need to do is put Covid-19 into the context of over population of the planet. Then the 'powers to be' would ask, so now who would be useful in the future ?

How many 3rd world countries and indeed the worlds population in general will be 'given' the Covid-19 vaccine, we will never find out is my guess ! How many more 'Covids' will be needed ?

What comes across is every 'green' technology is linked back to nat gas at some point in its cycle and green is far from green.

Supply and demand on the planet can be altered by reducing demand ... demand is driven by humans !
