Agree, AA has done well to get rid of the millstone around his neck of what he probably now considers a mistake with MO.

Start again, then launch an IPO with his new company, probably this year imo.

Well, as promised the M&A has kicked off for the UKCS.

SQZ will follow imo, for sure. The only way SQZ will stay as SQZ is if we pull off another large acquisition in the next month or two.

Has to be SQZ all day long imo.

Trading pattern there has been something to admire.

Are SQZ now being lined up too with our SP being held against its will.

RRE sold for 64% premium on closing price and 105% on 3 month VWMA.

SQZ, 64% on Fridays close is £1.72, 105% on our 90 day VWMA is £2.00, which equates to £1.86 average of the two.

An amount I feel at this point in time is fair ..... anything above £2.00 and drinks are on me at the Cross-Hares.

It's an Arab backed and owned company that will take RRE, for sometime now Upomega has been floating the idea that the same may happen to SQZ ..... it now appears more likely than it did on Friday imo.

Our recent SP action and the presence of our endless BoT trades has concerned me for sometime. For those that have been watching RRE trades, there has been a similar pattern there too.

Well the answer is yes, to the CoH ...... will we see an increase on the offer, doubtful unless we have another interested party. Given our decom status and hydro mix I do think this offer is about right although a little disappointing as AA appears to have thrown the towel in early, so not sure why that is tbh.

With an EV of ~£140m (~35kboepd net / ~62mmboe 2P / No debt / CoH ~£140m), 2019 Operating Profit of £88m, we need to watch our backs. Either the SP will not last this low for long or the company, which is it to be?

imo, very much more so. Pity about RRE, would have liked to know if we or the market were ever considering a merger with RRE. If so, this too could explain our recent fall.

My biggest regret of late was not sticking with ITM (Hydrogen fuel cell Co) when they were 20p .... sold out circa 30p ..... recent high this month 360p, yet to make a profit and 2019 income of £4.6m and valued at £1.7bn, that's BILLION .... wtf. There was me thinking a company with very little income and no real big customers would have any chance of x12 multi-bag in little over 12 months, how wrong !!!! Now back to RRE, stick with adding easy value with astute acquisition in next month or two, then sell the company on for £52/share next year, x4 bag will do me now.

Invitation or not, we are now oversold and in silly offer territory. BoT was on it like a rat up a drainpipe this morning .... pulled SP down from off and kept it low all day, although all O&G companies had a hard day today.

On the surface it was a simple forced sell (although I guess there is more to it than that) by the sound of the RNS, "the sale has resulted from an intended change of control of Luska Limited..." and a rather rapid disposal at that, one that dragged the SP down quickly over the last 3 - 4 sessions. Just as we were building good momentum too.
Atm, it's just Neil, his wife and Tamsin Salinger (14 years Director) are the owners and have been so for 22 years. The sale RNS did not state for personal reason, so I would guess, a conflict of interest maybe with change of owner (control). Question is, what assets do Luska Limited hold, if just SQZ share holding company, who is the new owner ? Also, note the use of "intended" in the RNS.

Just wondering what's your game and why you are here Joblot, your last post implied the same yet again, "The performance of the share price the past few weeks has been awful, especially considering the size of the asset that we are sitting on, wonder where the blame lies, incompetence??.."

Are they not gold focused, so given the rise in gold price over the last 12 months, I would expect their SP to reflect that too.
