It appears that Viaro have made RRE t/o as watertight as possible ( highlighted by massive CFD taken out since announcement ). Now why would that be .... For me, it's because RRE will form the building block for further acquisition activity. Viaro NEED RRE and their cash pile for their next step into UKCS. With Arab backing we could easily be looking at the beginning of another major force in UK O&G sector.

I have been 'concerned' about BoT activity for sometime now on SQZ, day after day. On Wednesday SQZ had some very decent size trades and multiple ones too ..... much, much higher volume than normal..... Point worth noting imo

Given that RRE entered into Confidentiality Agreement on 29th Feb, who else are they in discussions with .... I would wager they are looking to build on RRE assets from the off so expect other acquisition by Viaro in the near future.... SQZ anyone ?

The issue I have is AA appears to have fallen ( after all his rhetoric ) in line with Viaro Energy offer too easily .... would have been much more acceptable even if Viaro Energy got officially rejected (ie 1800p), then came back with 1850p at least AA would not appear to be such a pussy !

Then again, this is big business ... PI's will never get the full story here .... just hope someone else sees value here.

SQZ have been simmering away for sometime now, looking like we are ready to boil .... cup of tea and a chat anyone !

Could always sell up now, rent for 12-24 months or downsize, come back to market in 18-24 months, my guess is you will be able to get more bang for your bucks then.

With more and more institutions taking positions at circa 1833p, it's looking like they expect 1850p to be trumped ..... maybe 'Trumped' is the wrong word .... but you know what I mean.

Their 'quick buck' equates to circa £100,000 for 4-5 week hold with, as it appears, limited risk.

But that aside, I have to ask myself, why go in yesterday when they could probably get the same deal in a few weeks, unless they expect the SP to climb !
