IMO, its shares that have been acquired on behalf of Viaro by holding entities over at least the past 4 months or so being moved into Viaro ownership. Although if I'm wrong, as there does appear to be some urgency, things may get interesting. Of course, HNWI and alike would judge the chance of possibly making a few extra quid in a month or so with rival bidder against re-deploying their capital elsewhere too.

The point of interest is its for last Friday ..... now why would that be if, were Macquarie not approached "Viaro Energy has received irrevocable undertakings from five other RockRose Shareholders to vote (or to procure the voting) in favour.." If they have net zero, they must be really miffed. Doesn't make much sense to me atm, last disclosure on RRE site has them at 3.97%, strange .... unless there is an error made on the 8.3 form, who knows !!

I can not be reading this right ... they had a short open for 341k shares on Friday !!!

Trust me, SQZ is no where near over priced atm.

I'm expecting action over on SQZ soon too.

RRE was a clear bargain for the Arabs, although I fear we will never know the whole story.

Exactly as I stated AA would do for himself, except some Arab now basically gets a bridging loan for all of 1 day to buy the company, as you say, f'in unbelievable. Question is, would shareholders have let AA get away with it, or would they have demanded at least CoH. Could we be witnessing a backdoor, private members only transaction.

Which makes AA et al 'U' turn look all the more unfathomable.

But on the other hand, Covid vaccine and SA et al working together to restore POO and the drop off of supply, £37/share could be on the mark again this time next year.

UKCS will be fine for years to come imo, but long gone are the days of +$15/boe for 2P's. As for Hydrogen, fuel cells, batteries or other new technologies ... difficult one, as many appear to be over priced to me atm, but just seeing what happened to the DOT.com anything is possible. May need to revisit these companies again although my risk appetite has diminished recently.

Agree, with deals like this PI's never get to know the whole story. Need to follow AA to see where he ends up as that may give a clue why AA et al, think that doing a massive 'U' TURN for an offer of 1850p is acceptable. Be interesting too, seeing what NS deals are done by others in the coming months. My guess is you have not seen the last of Arab backed PE / PRIVATE companies making inroads into the NS.

Well we have a big buyer atm, able to sell my holding straight to market, no NT or need to breakdown into smaller tranches.

Well, 2 weeks ago I stated RRE were are RED & AMBER ..... today we firmly entered GREEN for GO .

Well done to all that managed to avoid the nay-sayers, Duster, TiptonDave et al. Yes, RRE is a steal at 1850p, but it now allows cash to be released for other opportunities.
