Agree that a more up to date ops report would have been nice, but is not required as part of the interims. I would have thought there was a reason behind this, my guess is they are holding this back for strategic reasons. We are more than likely to see an ops update in the near future imo

Like me, many 'investors' will be looking to add to their position as they understand the worth of the company, its direction and mgt. Traders will always look for opportunities to trade, but needed to be quick here today, esp as the spread is not normally favorable.

No worries here, H2 is already shaping up to be much better.

Don't forget that the £8m dividend is also accounted for even though it was not paid until H2

These figures are as expected imo .... although I'm a little disappointed by CoH remaining static.

Unlike many other companies, SQZ is still debt free and cash rich.

I'm ready and waiting for any form of market manipulated weakness tomorrow, should there be any, as it will be bought into swiftly imo.

Yep, I made that very point several months back, like you, I find it perplexing as to why the market can not see this as an exception low cost, low risk, high impact re-entry well. Once online, together with Columbus we could easily see +25% uplift in production for what in the grand scheme is peanuts. As you mentioned, R3 alone will make a significant material difference to SQZ both in terms of cash flow and profits. I'm sure this fact has not gone unnoticed by others.

Agree Almsivi, as for giving the market far too much credit, I would add that the 'market' atm is and has been for many many months in the form of our controlling BoT, nothing to do with natural market dynamics. The pendulum is about to swing firmly in favor of SQZ. aimo

I would have thought more news on the newly offered licences too and how they will integrate with Bruce.

There is even a strong argument for a double digit special dividend too..... now that's a Super Happy Emoji.

Think they will miss a massive opportunity if they do not announce an interim dividend, of circa 2p, that in itself would be sufficient to give our SP a boost imo. I for one am expect one. Happy emoji

We are being pinned back for sure, FTSE doing well .... probably by PE firm wanting us, with the city 'in the know' too being 'happy to help'.

Interesting RNS ..... Not sure if play on words or not, don't recall an RNS when we were last 'offered' licences, 'awarded', yes, but not offered.

At what point do offered become awarded .... probably on payment and paperwork being completed by Q1 2021 is my guess.

Very, very light on detail too compared to previous announcements, almost as if it was rushed out ..... to say, 'look we have Rhum, Eigg and now these, we have the whole area under our licence, that has to add value'..... hummm

Guess that depends upon how long we are 'aloud' to build our cash position, or if indeed we deploy it. I agree, the only merger option that was out there for me was RRE also ..... now that has gone, its either full T/O or sizable acquisition on the same terms akin to BKR, we don't want any sort of debt imo. Will our Mcap fall below CoH, not a chance. I estimate we currently have c£150m CoH so we would need to fall below 56p, too many drivers to support our SP imo.

MM dropped the SP during the week up to YE results in April. Gas futures looking strong, breaking 30p/therm today. Longer term futures are around 42p/therm for Dec/Jan/Feb atm. So good for 40% rise, this will have to be reflected in our SP , just a matter of waiting.

DOW sell off is good news for FTSE. Money will move from over-valued US stocks to seriously under-valued FTSE ones, including BP.

Think they have just found the DOW bad apples !

Apple and MS down 7% and 5 % respectfully atm .... biggest falls atm
