Shorters will be looking to close out in next week, a Trump win will put a rocket under WTI, where as Biden will support the economy which in turn means US O&G sector. Combine that with renewed push to get a vaccine issued and population inoculated imo would mean a swift return to 300p

This constant drip drip of dropping the SP (BoT hammering in trades in last 30 seconds of trading) is starting to take the p1ss. Brent up again today (+$43/barrel), gas strong too at now close to 40p/therm future, yet we closed down 1.9p (-2%) ....... bang head emoji.

Agree, wouldn't take too much to organize and would get the message out on how well SQZ are performing. Particularly as they should now be able to produce Q3 figures vs Q2 ..... ALL Q3 indicators should be a massive improvement upon Q2, yet our SP is sat approximately 15% below Q2 average and roughly 25% down pre covid average. SQZ should be easily trading at +100p imo even in these torrid times..... remember, SQZ are DEBT FREE too.

Well, can't disagree with that. We however know how quick this share can move. Think this SP is down to several factors, Covid, sector, Brexit, economy, H1 results ... you name it.
But remember that POO has stabilized at >$40/barrel ( significantly up on April/May) and gas is circa +300% off its lows too. Any other business that increases its revenue by c400% to almost pre-covid levels should be flying.
We are stuck in limbo and need a BKR deal to get us moving once more or as you fear, we are an easy target atm and like you think R3 production will not make a sustained impact on our SP unless its timed with an ops update showing a much, much stronger performance for H2 vs H1.

Appears very strange that you are in this position and tbh, a little concerning. Might be teaching you to suck eggs, I would ask your broker 'in writing' to confirm your holding, dividend payment instruction and to investigate accordingly if not already done so. Should they be held in a nominee account, dividends are usually are dispersed in several way, cash into named bank account, cash held in nominee account or re-invested to acquire more SQZ shares. If held pre April 2015, I take it you instructed your broker to convert your TSX holding to AIM back in 2015 when SQZ delisted from the Canadian Exchange as I'm not sure this was automatic or not.

Hope you are able to resolve this soon as you don't want to be in limbo should we have an all cash offer.

Mitch also stated that the next deal will be at least 50% of SQZ's MCap, so that in itself should significantly move our SP.

We still have this seller, possibly a PI imo, who's killing the SP daily atm. For goodness sake, let it rise, then sell into it instead of dragging it down !!
On several days, including today, a good day for markets in general, we should be well up, we have once again a good chance of finishing down. Noticed the other day on the 8p rise, the seller was not present, at least not as obvious as normal.

Really hope that ACW and Kiosk Kate can wrap this one up swiftly.

For me the deal would hinge on the decom costs. Now PO got these down to $240m ( 50% of existing Andrew Area only) given we could formulate a BKR style arrangement, these liabilities should fall considerable given BP would still be in effect utilizing the infrastructure for another 4 years. The initial payment of $210m plus add-on depending upon POO / Nat Gas prices was estimated at $115m would need to be 'sliced up' to suit both parties into a BKR style deal.

All very achievable for a production of circa 23.5kboepd net imo

We can then focus our attention towards Shell and their share of Shearwater and even ETAP.

All very exciting atm and very +ve response from the market today too.

Given our 'relationship' with BP I would consider it inconceivable that we never completed DD on Andrew and Shearwater earlier this year. I'm sure ACW would have been on the blower this morning. Bit of egg on face for BP today .... how much do they need to offload is the question. As I mentioned, there will be no shortage of time sensitive assets for sale by the big players ... just a shortage of suitable buyers imo. This should lead to better negotiations for those who may be in the market.

Things have just taken an interesting turn today. :-)
