We attempted a breakout of the down trend on open but this soon got suffocated at resistance, not long now until we do though.

Only a few months or so ago BP would add 10% in a flash ... for weeks it would yo yo between 280-320.

It would not take much for one of the major HF to make a first move and close their shorts .... then watch our SP recover with +10% intra-day days as others follow, more importantly hold those gains imo. Easy +50% as I see the return to 280-320 sooner rather than later. That gap at 300p needs to close, been open for too long now.

Agree, the HF et al just need a few more weeks to complete a controlled close of their shorts, open mega longs, then BANG, up we go. The writing is on the wall, BP will be back in multi billion profits next quarter imo

There you have it, lovely 'V' shape recovery ..... Q4 profits will be in the billions.

From $6.7 billion loss for the three months to June, Q2 to report an expected underlying loss of $120million for Q3 is in my book reassuring esp as Q1 reported $0.8 billion underlying profit. Q4 will imo be well in profit so would be amazed if they cut divi's again as that would for sure put the final nail in our SP for the foreseeable and possibly spell the end for Lonney.

All very strange, why we were sub 100p for so long.

Acquire a piddly £5m worth of ZIOC shares via hidden holdings of sub 3% .... plus their 10%, would get 25% of the ZIOP ..... WORTH MULTI BILLIONS $$$$ ...

Would not be too difficult esp if you take large tranches of the recent Subscription Agreement and have been slowly slowly catchy monkey over the last 5 years.

Then give the nod to develop the mine, so "..‘ Are there dodgy Congolese f@cks making life difficult because they're not getting their cut?’..." Make so much more $ this way than a few million or so upfront.

I was suggesting that a 'progress ops update' may be issued and if not, then I believe SQZ should consider one, with Q3 performance included.

... vs 0.01% interest in the bank.... and that is atm, neg rates on the horizon so lord knows what retail would get, ZERO if lucky.

Any divi paying stock will have risen substantially by this time next year imo

Given news on R3 could be a little as 3 trading weeks away, its amazing we are still struggling to muster a decent rise, once again, count me out on that one.

Must add, that the $35bn imo is no way achievable ... just their 'book' price, given BP's SP is currently around £39bn MCap, maybe it could be classed as 'fire sale'

That's correct, BP are needing to sell off $35bn as part of their divestiture plan by 2025 .... assets that are no longer economically viable, stranded or part of Lonney's grand plan.

They need to get a move on I would say.
