@Hamla yes i agree with you, that is the thrill of trading and i guess thats why its called that and not winning ha, love to dive in to big drops because they often bounce back just as hard as the fall. We might see some pull back tomorrow.

@hedged i fear you are right after todays share price movement, i am hopeful of a recovery at some point but i dont think it will be before this war ends and the economy stabilizes. I came to OCDO with much fundemental research which was a mistake, the 30% who voted against the bonus scheme would ahve been enough for me to go else where if only i had waited.

@FairAnalyst the gov. have really had to go all out to get that mud to stick and that was with Abramvich, he was always target number 1 and the posterboy of Oligarchs to be sanctioned and presented to the media as the bad guy, its fits their narrative to justify the support of funding this war.

I dont see the gov. sanctioning many more companies even the ones with vague links as i am sure they are aware how little affect they are having on Putins war and all they continue to do is punish any british person involved with the businesses, its an own goal in many ways imo.

@hedged you have won the bet already, i said 883 and although i havent sold out you are on course to your 750. Im happy to be proven wrong and admit defeat ))

@Halma its hard day trading with this much volotility in the south direction, i think you go lucky today with the open, 10%ers are hard to come by on here, i think most would take break even now.

thank you for that, i have read about this bonus scheme and i did see the AGm results where 70 odd% the vote was enough to see the scheme voted through, major ii's took a dislike to this i am not sure why as for me personally i want to be invested in a company with aggressive expansion plans, Ocado fits that perfectly.

Todays interest rate rise has probably played a big part in this afternoons carnage, at the end of the day these are shares and spreasdbets so i dont mind holding, thi9ngs could change quickly if and when this war ends.

thanks Value, school boy error i get a bit excited there, wishful thinking on my part. What do you think is causing this spike in share price fall? short selling or ii's dumping? I think also that this share seems to follow closey the US markets, its been carnage on there today and lost all the gains they made yesterday with the rate rise.

Friday i said watch for break out, tuesday is exactly wehat we got, i wasnt expecting a rocket move up and was expecting a pull back to the channel, today that is where we are but we are still rising!

Area 'A' is where it gets interesting, if we stay on this upwards trajectory, as the price rises even slightly it will also straighten up the 20MA green line, the 50MA is falling nicely towards it.

Happy to be shown another way, if anyone has any other way of seeing please share...

For the record I dont think my TA is 100%, its share price at the end of the day and can do anything, there is no rule book. How about you give us the correct version? I called a rise and that is what we have had and whos to say it has finished?

Would you not expect that to be priced in already?
They stated at the AGM that they have enough cash in the bank to see out 2022...

Morning team POLY, thought I would give a little TA update, the wide spread is confusing price action and making it jump from green to red on buys and sells, we are in a tight range with low volume today so far, the price has dropped down into the ‘demand’ zone buy channel below us a few times so far and gets bought back up every time. Today is looking like a consolidation day after 2 days of rises, this actually bodes well going forwards as bull runs with lots of momentum don’t usually last, the slower momentum is better for us with a creeping rise. A close price of 2.54 or above will be good enough to keep us in the channel, the mean average price lines are still on collision course within the next week but I expect the price to move up before then. I wouldn’t expect massive rises like before while the war is still on going, price action is heavily suppressed atm. Patience will be rewarded in the not so far future.

gap up this morning to be filled at 901p, once thats filled we can hopefully make a proper move up, today could be a good reversal signal depending on how we finish ))

casapinos, fundementals are not really my thing but i like your write up and views of OCDO, to me fundementals are all guess work as share prices never imo properly represent any company listed on the stock exchange, i prefer to try read the technicals.

Ignoring the share price and trying see through to the bigger picture, my view is its about to turn around, the daily charts shows the drops are flattening out now and running out momentum, MACD is looking at near bottom, we have had 2x Doji candle sticks showing equal amount of buying and selling in tight range, the volume also does not match what im seeing on the price action which says to me, there is background order filling taking place. Look at the large spike in buying volume yet little to no action on the share price.

With such massive drops it will take time for confidence to come back into the share, big sellers in the background and mm's taking advantage of fear in the market right now but many are sitting and waiting on the side lines like yourself to buy, when it does make its next move and it will it will be with equal if not more momentum in the upwards direction. Fingers crossed this war is over soon.

@Atrades i agree, you wont see this any lower now unless there is some very bad news, infact with so many big buyers underneath i just dont think they will allow it. Oh and regrading my OCDO trade did you see that RNS this afternoon, just as i said last week and posting the evidence one bank causing all the problems dumping 75 million shares. What can we do?

Nice to see POLY finish blue and some meaty sneaky buys pushed through, you can guess what time they were purchased, another signal of what is going on behind the scenes, as i say the demand zone is just below us, big order filling taking place ))

As I said last week from the recent chart and price action I thought one ii bank was causing most of the current price drop, Capital fund dumping 75 million shares, proof in this afternoons RNS.

Dont forget tomorrow is AGM day, some clarity on funding if required will be given tomorrow, worse case scenerio is already priced, i expect a pull back from here tomorrow ))
