Was it 140 offer or 156?

My concern is now that Entain ( having dropped from 1,300 per share to 650 per share in 12 months) in theory shouldn't be thinking about any takeover bids, and focusing on their own share price, so we won't be on their radar.

Playtech however had a resurgence in their share price over the last 3-4 months and are now nearly back to the levels they were in July 23 when they made a bid for Evoke.

Would there be any change they could be interested again at this lowly price, and come in with an offer near 50% less than what they offered last year ( circa 85p rather than 156p)?

Of course I would be happy for it to rise by 5-8% per day....who the f**k wouldn't if you are invested in it lol

over the last two weeks we got a significant rise, followed by a re-trace....at one point people were shouting out numbers like 6p last week, and I said I would be happy with 5-8% rise daily for a few weeks never mind 150-200% in a day

Yes, I've been sting majorly on this share.

Bought in around £11k worth of shares with an average of 29p around Feb/ March 2023. SP rose to 40p with expected news, and some updates, then since then it's doom and gloom, with sinking SP, significant cash burn, with very little sales of note.

Bought another £500 at 1.5p placing. Average is around 15p now.

Hoping for a miracle, or the ramping crew to get on this and stay on this for the year lol

They did a great job last week getting this up to 4.9p.

As expected, the people who wanted to make a quick win on the SP price have done, and are probably sold up again.

Until we hear news of sales, NICE Full recommendation, or further FDA updates I'd imagine we will be on the slide again.

Unless the gang pop back in again before next week and start the onslaught of ramps again.

But surely Royal ascot was a great money spinner for all of the bookies. Would be baffled if it wasn't.

Hard to believe we had a bid on the table last year at 156p a share and it was turned down by the board.

I'm not sure we will see that opportunity again anytime soon

Were the results really that shocking that they warranted a 14% drop on the day? Or were they not generally expected ( and I actually thought already built in)

What do we reckon he bottom is? last time I think it was around 63p?

The new CEO has actually bought near £2m worth of shares

He bought 940,996 shares at SP of 109p on 1st August, and then he bought 1,125,539 shares at Sp of 84p.

In fairness there are directors in this company who have also bought in heavily at much higher SPs than this, some well into late 80s, 90s and some even over 100p.

Those people need this share to bounce back just as much as any of us.

I can't really buy on the dip as my average is 74p anyway.

Just frustrating that this familiar pattern keeps happening, and we can't seem to break loose again and head north towards the 130p we had not so long ago when there were rumours of a takeover.

Plan was always to hold long term, but I'm beginning to wonder when and if we we will ever reach those heights again.

Not so long ago we made it into the FTSE 250

If we hold over 4.5p by end of day, it's another move in the right direction and a good result on the day.

Unlike anyone trying to make a fast return in a day or two, I'd be more than happy to see this share SP raise by 5-8% daily for the next month.

A lot of people always shouting about the USA market in the afternoon....9/ 10 times they say this it never materialises and the SP goes the opposite direction.

Just hoping we don't half the gains it achieved earlier in the day :-/

For any new investors watching the ramping and the de-ramping I think Roger's post is probably a decent reflection of where we are, and what might happen.

I'd happily take a finish slightly over 4p today, and then build momentum until the 31st.

I'm a long term holder and have no other choice but to see where this goes by the end of year / early next year.

IF i can make any profit now I will be happy.

Not so long ago my £11k investment was worth 10% of that

My average was 29p before the placing, and then I took some shares in the placing at 1.5p.

My average came down to 15.3p. I did think at the time it might be worth a punt to buy further shares at 1.5p but I didn't take the risk ( even though I thought it was either fully bust or double your money kind of gamble)

In hindsight now I wish I had've and reduced my average down around 10p, because I'm hoping this gets back to 10p over the next two months.

A lot of new faces in pumping this stock today who I've not seen before.

I understand there are a lot of day traders in to make a quick buck on share which had probably reached the bottom in terms of SP, but spare a thought for the long term holders....anyone who's been in this share from 25p upwards.

We need don't need a quick pump and dump....we need sustained interest.
