Sometimes the market reaction with Evoke on rumours or news is really drastic in terms of fall in the SP price.

The rumour of Increased taxes on bookmakers in the upcoming budget dropped this share 10p,

However the positive results last week didn't see much of a rebound.

The noise now coming out regarding the budget seems to be it won't be as bad for bookmakers as originally thought, but we don't see the same rebound or surge in price, as we do when it's decline.

It's really frustrating for LTHs

DJEPSON - that's a fair enough comment. but with the debt we were at 128p last September.

So that's why I talk about those numbers.

I'm comparing apples with apples.........no sense in looking back to the price before takeover now, we are going to have the debt for a long time.

The fact is with the debt, and with the potential issues last year of the potential Govt intervention into the gambling trade etc we still hit 128p and had a takeover bid of 150p??

Eafster - it wasn't so long ago that JPM had a price expectation of over double that.

Was there a short position closed today? Did there not used to be 4 open shorts rather than 3?

Arguably this business based on todays information is in a better position than it was when the share price was 100p + which is very strange and very frustrating

Even taking away the Rumours around increased taxations, we should be sitting around 70-80p.

Not expecting much movement until the budget announcements but this share should not be sitting at 58p.

It's mind blowing

LWHL - do you think the update can turn the sentiment around even a little bit?

Can only imagine how the Directors are feeling after their significant buy ins at much higher SPs than this, in some cases close to double this SP.

What must they be thinking now.

This week should have been a good week with positive updates regarding Results expected, and announcements on potential interest rates cuts to help with the debt.

Unfortunately it's been car crash due to labours rumour milling.

Feels like every time we hit 67p we drop back down to 65/ 64p.

We've also been opening most mornings in around 66/ 67p then dropping during the day quite regularly

I just meant me saying we might hit the 68p yesterday.

And Mary saying we are close this morning.

Back down to 66p and red for the day

I do have the same belief in this share as you and Mary though...so I hope we are all right, and we see our rewards in the future.

If the results mirror what was said or forecasted a few months ago, then we should see an upward trend long term

For some reason LSE is showing 68p whilst everywhere else is showing a drop in SP

What do we think the next piece of news will be? and when?

DJEPSON - never judge the SP on it's opening....it always opens crazy high or crazy low in comparison to what it ends up around 9am

Bit of movement downwards from early last week....frustrating, as when we hit the 70p mark again I thought the upward trend would continue.

I think it will be Q1 next year before we see real positive strides forward back towards the high 80s / 90s again
