DJEPSON - yes they are beaten. I've been betting on horses for 25 years and worked in a bookies when I was in university.

If you do an accumulator for Cheltenham Antepost ( before Non runner no bet is applied to the pricing) you get better prices, because the risk is that if a horse pulls out your bet is beat.

So even with William Hill, pre New Year's day ( before they introduced NRNB) all of them accumulators including Sir Gino would now be classed as beaten.

Yawksha- I know the sir Gino withdrawal from Cheltenham probably hasn’t had an impact on our share price, but an interesting stat today from oddschecker suggests that sir Gino was part of 35% of all accumulators placed ante post before non runner no bet was in place

That’s a significant amount of bets beaten before the event.

Next milestone.....staying over 73p for a few days :-)

In all seriousness though would be good to continue in an upward momentum right through to Mid March.

But we will see.

First milestone for me is staying above 72p for a few days without any retrace, then see where it takes us from there.

As you say, the volume isn't huge.

When this SP really moved and hit the heights, some of the single buys ( in terms of volume) were huge.

Especially when the takeover attempt was made.

I would love it to get there someday.

Slight worry around Cheltenham this year ( quite possibly the highest turnover period for any UK based Bookmaker).

There a lot of races now which only have short priced favourites in them with very little to challenge them in the rest of the field,

It's either going to be a bloodbath for bookmakers, or we end up seeing some serious shock results and there is a decent profit for the week ( hopefully the latter for this SP)

Recently one of the heavily supported Short price favourites ( who was part of many peoples accumulators and multiple bets, along with some very hefty antepost bets) was injured and pulled out of the festival,

This will have resulted in a bit of profit for pre the event. Seen someone commenting on a page the other day saying the horse was included in almost £20m-£30m worth of bets. ( not sure how true it is but could imagine it wouldn't have been too far off a number like that)

I've been in this share for around 2 years ( having first bought in Marc 2023 at 26p). The SP raised to 43p 17 days later and I should have sold up, however there was a lot of talk on these forums of the SP reaching greater heights.

During the placing, I bought some of the 1.5p shares and I now have my average down to 15p,

What needs to happen for this needle to move back to an upwards trend? There was a brief moment after the placing where we were around 4-5pm, but we've now been languishing around 2p for around 4-5 months.

Is there any news coming that could help us? is there anything that can get this share back to 5p - 8p.

Or am I just going to watch the final few £k wittle away.

I'm down about £10k in this share as it is, but I'm hoping to get away with a £5k loss and and get out at some point.

Again, nothing surprises me anymore when it comes to baffling movements of the SP

IF interest rates are rumoured to go up.....everyone comments about how bad it is for 888's debt, and that's why the SP goes down

Surely this is good news if there is another cut.

Again, more positive news......and we can't seem to get a leg up.....bearing in mind we were at 77p late last week

So we've had

- a very positive market update from the board ( ahead of expectations)

- Closure of all major short positions

- A further director buy in ( on top of the huge buy ins from CEO and other directors over the last 12-18 months)

- An updated projected SP from JP Morgan from 73p to 90p

And we still are struggling for traction. I'm sorry i'm sounding like a broken record, but what more do we need.

This share is in much better position than it was when it was in around 120p mark, but yet we are sitting in the 60s.

Kularatnam - it's so frustrating. Every it looks like we are edging towards a strong upturn, we take a very quick downturn and drags us back to pre TU levels in 1 -2 days.

What more positive news does the market need?

Shorts all closed, huge insider buying, Positive Trade update......I remember us having around 3-4 Significant short positions and the share price being in the 90p range.

Just feels like we get a small bit of momentum, really positive noises from the update….then another short position closed, and we crash from 77p open to 71p close in a day

Great news. But strangely we open at 76p and fall to 71p

I hope your right Jimmy, with all of your comments on this board.....would love to see this clear 100p again at some point, and takeover rumours to circulate again.

If Per manages to make 50-100% profit on his shareholding that will not only make him a very happy man, but myself also

Would be good to see another Short positing closed on this share, which in turn could lead to another lift in the SP

I've been in this for the long haul for quite a while now and still holding on to the hope that the directors who have bought in at various prices from 80p - 105p someday pick themselves up a significant profit because I'm sure if they do, most of us LTHs will as well.

average of 67p as bought again on the last big dip......hopefully the re-rate has begun.

A strong Cheltenham and who knows where this could be by end of March.

I remember not selling at 121p not that long ago.....here's hoping we get that opportunity again.

TBH even if it is relatively positive news, maybe it's all been built into the price today,

Yawkshaw.... Agreed, I've seen pre news excitement and gambling on positive outcome, only to crash on the day the news comes out

I'm really hoping it isn't the case with Evoke.

What's peoples thoughts on how this might go?

I really do hope so.

For LTH the last few announcements haven't been ideal, and have led to a pretty quick decline in SP.

Hopefully tomorrow starts the turnaround....but good to see some positive action today.
