Is anyone expecting any new news to come from the AGM tomorrow?

I think you are right, the upward curve has been strong.....today's performance is reflective of the performance of the wider market.

If the market bounces back a little bit tomorrow I could see Evoke doing the same, and hopefully continuing on that upward trend.

Strange this morning.

Something obviously caused the spike yesterday afternoon, and then this morning there's been a big sell off.

Maybe an institution or some PI's had sells set at 57.50p and they all kicked in this morning?

Would that be possible?

Have to remember, some smart investors would have taken a chance on this share 6 weeks ago at 37p.

Can anyone explain to me what is happening over the last 7-10 days trading, that we keep on opening up 2/3/4 p higher than we finish up?

I'd say at least 3 - 4 days over the last week or so we've hit 57, only to return back to 54 by close of play.

Can be really frustrating to watch

It seems to be a pattern this week

Rises early in the morning, by 5-6% then drops down to around 1-2% end of day

To think we hit 57.50 at one point today and again now back down to 54......it's very strange to say the least.

Don't get me wrong if someone told me now, calm down, we will rise by 1p every day for the next 30 days...i'd break your hand off for it lol

Why do we keep opening above 55p every day then dropping down a little.

Frustrating that we can't hold above that 55p marker for this week at least.

55p this morning, I was back to my average...only to lose out all day and arrive back to 53p.

Disappointing finish having reached 54.70p

I had a gut feeling that if we get past the 53p mark we could see 60p again in a couple of weeks......but it's the minimum I guess that we are all hoping for.

I managed to get my average down to 55p when we had the huge drop.

For me anything north of 80p again at some point is what I am hoping for.

It will make me good money on this share, but also cover a few investments elsewhere.

A return to the last takeover bid figure of 155p would be eutopia

Also Flutter seem to have paid £2300 million for a part of the Playtech business, so realistically that will probably rule them out of spending any significant cash on a further takeover in the furture.

The special dividend for shareholders in Playtech would have been a nice lift for some shareholders.

What's happened over in Playtech?

Does this mean we are unlikely to see any interest from them in the future in terms of any kind of bid?

I'm thinking before we get ahead of ourselves and talk about numbers that are potentially 4 to 5 years away ( and that's only if everything runs smoothly), it would just be nice to see us go back to 70p ( which was pre results level)

We need a consistent flow of good news messages in order for that to happen.......if we don't get that why would anyone invest large amounts.....if they weren't prepared to invest after results and going as low as 36p...why would they invest now without a positive news flow?

What's with the consistent £1,750 buys in the last 5 minutes of trading? So many of them went through.

Makes you wonder if it had of been closer to 4% revenue growth in their announcement 4 weeks ago would we still have seen such a seismic drop....or would it have given more of a glimmer of hope

Opened up 51p today I thought we were moving in the right direction ahead of Friday Q1 update.

I'd imagine Q1 isn't going to waver too much from what they said the outlook currently was around a month ago, so maybe there will be no surprises, but it depends how the market reacts.

a Short opened this week though so hope that isn't a sign of things to come tomorrow.

If you bought in at 37p last week you've had a good week.

Still a long way to go for long term holders.

Ah ffs....please just hold a gain for more than a day!!!!

Can't complain about today....but we need another 4 or 5 days like today to get everyone back up to pre results level
