Wonder what initiated the buys near close of play today

I guess a lot depends on the big buyer from the last two weeks, as to where this goes today....are they happy to have doubled their money and sell, or will they stay in and hold for a bigger return down the line

Would love this SP to have a real lift off over the next 6 months.

I've been in over a year, at around 0.16 per share, so I'm nearly breaking even again...but tbh that's not really what I was hoping for when I first bought in.

I set myself a target of 0.35

But ideally like everyone else who wants to see this do well, we'd all love 1.0p.....whether that's realistic or not.

Babis - yea when it dropped to 0.016 I believe.

It's now near 5 times that.

Unfortunately I need this to be 0.16 just to break even.

I should have averaged down on the sever dip the other week.

Anyone else notice the significant drop in Share price of Entain over the last 12 months?

Interesting that Kenny Alexander and the boys f rom FS gaming and Entain were the ones who tried to get themselves on the Board of 888 last year which initially led to the Share price of 888(Evoke) jumping to 156p but then when a review was announced due to Mr Alexanders and FS gamings involvement our Share price dropped to the levels it is now, and below.

At the time of July 2023 Entain share price was around £1200, and now its around £660

Playtech the other company who made a firm offer for 888 back in July 2023 is now down 20% from that time.

There has always been an underlying thought that some of the larger Gambling firms were overpriced and some of the smaller ones such as Evoke are underpriced.

Anybody have any thoughts?

With Evoke's business predominantly in UK shops now, surely we have had a great couple of weeks in terms of turnover and profit based on the sporting events which everyone would have been betting on.

Royal Ascot was a shocking week for the betting public with many big priced winners, Rory McElroy beat in the golf, and England drawing against Denmark.

I know the Euros has been good in terms of Favourites winning, but the amount of money being wagered on first goalscorers, correct scores, Accumulators etc and you would imagine their turnover is significantly up on last summer.

Anyone any comments on what is happening here? We hit 93p last week and back down to 85p this week again.

Was hoping for some genuine interest from outside companies again this summer, but it's all very quiet.

Last year we had a flurry of Director buys etc.....but not as much activity this year.

Can't believe we touched 93.90 again to just drop straight down to 87p ffs

There have to be big trades in the background driving this SP up, because the trading analysis for the day would suggest there was double the value of sales in comparison to buys

When this happens and the SP is still on the incline there is normally a few very large buys appear from in the background

Would be good to see the SP hold above 90p this week, and start to move back towards the 100p mark in June and July.

Hi Amers, I've had the funds in from the beginning of the week but nothing has been taken out yet, and no transaction made.

I have instructed HL that I wanted to take up my allocation of 37,867 shares at 1.5p.

They mentioned that you need to have the relevant funds in your HL account on the 24th May.

Does anyone know then they will actually complete the transaction and the shares will show up on my account as purchased?

I bought in a again today at 9p...my average is now around 12.9, having bought previously around 15p when awaiting the outcome of Island Magee hearing.

Went up to around 17p and here we are now back a 9.75.

Hoping for a lot of positive news over the next few months and an SP revival

If I take my allocation at 1.5p, it brings my average down to 15.6p from an average of 29.7p

For the sake of £568 is not worth taking this risk? Already lost basically everything anyway.

If the share price ever did return to a 10p, at least the losses wouldn't be as severe.

What are your thoughts?

@MaryB...I'm keen to understand what you think is going to happen when you say all hell is going to break loose, in response to Forest Gump's post that it will either be an RNS of Death or RNS of a lifetime?

Any news coming out of it? I haven't had a chance to have a look

As an existing shareholder holding near £12k worth of shares around the 29p mark, where can I access the shares at 1.5p?

I originally bought through Hargreaves Lansdown ......can purchase at through that channel?

Surely it's a no brainer to buy again at 1.5p if the share price holds at 2p or continues to grow back to 3-4p?
