Price is awful so we took steps so we dont have to raise money any time soon, bizarrely the price still went down. Anyway, happy with ops at present and news out soon.

I’ve just sent the following to LR in the hope it will get a favourable response:

Dear Laurence first of all a belated happy new year to you and the rest of the Team at Europa.

I am one of your private investors in Europa and I would like to get your feelings with regard to the demise of the share price. It seems as if it is on a continual spiral downwards. I look in the the LSE bulletin board to keep an eye on the latest developments and even when a good RNS is issued the share price falls. Is there any information which you are allowed to pass on to us investors which I might be able to share with the rest of the private investors on the bulletin board.

I have in the last24 hours contacted Turner Pope about the possibility that share price manipulation maybe occurring, and they in their turn directed me to the London Stock Exchange. I have sent an email to Market Supervision Enquiries at the LSE to ask them to investigate whether there is anything underhand going on.

If you had issued some bad news about the company I would understand this substantial fall in the share price since October last year. I hope that you can bring us a bit of cheer and put a smile back on our faces.

I have just sent the following email to the LSE (London Stock Exchange) and put the following:

Dear sir, I am a private investor in the above company and would like to voice my concerns of the way the share price of it appears to be handled. Today is a perfect example of what is happening and has happened since reaching its high some 6 months ago. The share price is consistently falling on no news. Even on a positive RNS the share price falls. Today the trades of buy v sell are more or less equal yet the share price is down 13%. I have no idea what is going on in the background of course but it does seem very odd that even on positive news the share price keeps falling. During an interview with the Executive Director Laurence Read stated that he was surprised by the reaction of the stock market. I would like to ask the question: Is manipulation of the share price being carried out?

Let’s see what happens. I don’t know if anyone else has sent emails but I hope you have. GLA

I called the telephone number given to me by TP and as you might expect it was not the exact one, however, I was transferred to the correct number and was given the following advice:

Send an email along with your query and evidence to
marketsupervisionenquires@lseg.com with a subject heading of EuropaMetals
You will receive a reply informing you that it will be investigated. The more enquiries they get the more it strengthens the case. I do not have Level 2 and I certainly don’t have the knowledge to be able to present the correct evidence. So I’m afraid this is where my journey ends with regard to being able to get this mess sorted out. I hope those of you with the knowledge will take up the baton and get this investigated by the FCA. GLA

We tend to stay out of such conjecture regarding market makers due to the parameters that their licenses provide and the variety of clients they have either telephoning orders or using platforms through which to effect trades. You then have to consider what business is proprietary and what is being done on behalf of third party clients and most of the business will be the latter. Market Makers also ‘challenge’ each other on prices, so it would be difficult for one organisation to dictate a price as they would open themselves up to buy and sell orders from the other Market Makers and their underlying clients.

Of course, if you or any others wish to voice concern or specifically complain, then you might want to call the London Stock Exchange’s Market Supervision team on 020 7797 3666. Turner Pope cannot get involved in any such action, however.

On 6/1/20 (see my previous posts) I received a reply from Andy Thacker at TP. Today having watched the sp and read lots of the posts on here from those that I trust, I decided I would ask TP if they could give me advice on who to complain to about possible sp manipulation. Hopefully he'll reply quite promptly then I'll post it here. I wrote the following:

Dear Andy, many thanks for taking the time to reply to me. I would like to ask for one more piece of advice with regard to Europa. I know that I am only speaking from my own research and what has been stated on a bulletin board, however, it is the opinion of those that have Level 2 access to the share price that there is one Market Maker who is consistently forcing the share price down and in their opinion consider them to be manipulating the share price, and that it is never allowed to rise by very much even when the buys way outstrip the sells yet, a sell comes through for a relatively small amount and the share price falls. According to some on the bulletin board they have put in complaints using correct procedures, but there appears to be nothing done, no feedback and investors are therefore left completely in the dark and feeling as if they have no redress.

My question to you as the Broker for Europa is:

To whom do we voice our collective concern to see if the share price is being manipulated ?

In an interview aired today Laurence Read also commented that he was surprised at the reaction of the stock market. Please can you help?

I have to admit that when I first read the RNS I felt a bit deflated as it at first read seemed like the non event of the year. However, having read it a couple of times I can see the positives in it and of course the comments on this bb reminding us of the independent results which have been published on what’s in the ground. I don’t think that they are in discussion with anyone about the sale especially with LRs comment “ project's potential and viability to both the industry and potential partners.". Hopefully I’m wrong about it and I’m reading into that comment something that isn’t there. All that being said I’m still positive about what we’ve got and hope that we see the share price heading north sooner rather than later. GLA

I don’t know about level 2 info, however, if the LSE spread is to be believed the MMs are trying to discourage ppl from buying. Why is that ??

It seems (reading the article of news on media) that the Indian government have a bit of a record of allowing big companies to invest money in their country and then change the law to catch companies retrospectively. I would think eventually they are going to fall foul of their own dirty tricks and major international companies will think twice about investing there. The size of the market there is huge and must be so tempting as the potential financial gain could/would be immense. I hope Vod come out of this with a positive spin for us lth so that we can see the sp rise on the back of it. GLA

I sincerely hope that there is something going on in the background that is more positive than my mood right now. The mid price is now 0.02 and not a word of encouragement from the bod. Silence may be golden but I thought that applied to the kids when you put them to bed, not the bod when the sp is being marched ever downward. Ffs bod say something that will get this sp going north.
