drunk, the problem as I see it is that the Russian government could try to tar all miners with the same brush and start thinking that all miners are taking a laissez faire approach to the environment, safety and the welfare of the workers. I would say that there are a lot of emails, texts, phone calls, and video conferences going today too. Yet another good reason for us to be suspended right now.

It looks like safety procedures are about to tighten up completely now the Putin is aware that this oil spill has taken place. I would say that EUA will have to carry out full checks on any environmental issues pdq and give the right assurances to the government. Putin seems hopping mad that they found out that the oil spill had happened two days after the event.

Russia's President Vladimir Putin has declared a state of emergency after 20,000 tonnes of oil leaked into a river within the Arctic Circle.
The spill happened when a fuel tank at a power plant near the Siberian city of Norilsk collapsed last Friday.
President Putin expressed anger after discovering officials only learnt about the incident two days later.
The plant is owned by a subsidiary of Norilsk Nickel, which is the world's leading nickel and palladium producer.
And in a televised video conference on Wednesday, Mr Putin lambasted the head of the company over the timeliness of its response.

"Why did government agencies only find out about this two days after the fact?" he asked the subsidiary's chief, Sergei Lipin. "Are we going to learn about emergency situations from social media?"
The region's governor, Alexander Uss, had earlier told President Putin that he became aware of the oil spill on Sunday after "alarming information appeared in social media".
Mr Putin has ordered an investigation into the accident and a manager at the power plant has since been detained.

Dan, as I’ve put on here before my average is 1.64 or was I’ve had a couple of very small top ups which has brought my average down to 1.638 - ha ha. I’ve been a Vod investor for about 20 years sold about 50% at the top and held the rest. If I’d have sold the lot I’d have had a tidy sum Never mind it’s only money and I’m hopeful of this plus other shares all coming good by the end of the year and I’m going to sell the lot and live extremely well for the next 10 years.

aandi, thanks for all of the effort you’re putting in and sharing the info, it’s really good of you and a nice little aside. When you’re talking about that kind of value you need top board members to hammer out where the next steps take the company, and that is exactly what we’ve got.

badback, you do have your point but dvh is the more correct in my view. If you spent £1K on your house and it added £10K to its value you wouldn’t mind spending that money at all. This I think is what AP seems to be doing and I think I’ve more or less paraphrased him in an interview, he’s spending money to get some shareholder value. If he gets the mine up and running we’ll have an income and less dilution. I’ve stuck my head above the parapet and wait to be shot at if I’m wrong

Well done, brilliant to see a little communication from LR. Let's hope its the start of many. Radio silence is fine but when the sp is stagnant or worse falling its sometimes nice to get a little bit of reassurance from the company.

Ian, good morning to you sir. I hope all is well with you and your family and not too sunburned from yesterday. I dusted the bbq off and burned some meat, unlike ppl on here who were trying to burn botfly. Whatever possesses ppl to spend a lovely day like yesterday on a bulletin board arguing. It’s no wonder spike has got 20,000+ posts to his name, he must be a very lonely person or just socially inadequate that he can’t relate to others properly. Anyway we’re about to start another day in the chapter of EUA and I’ve got some grass seeds to water so that they don’t dry out. Have a good day everyone, and stay safe now that someone has waived a magic wand and said we can all go out and do more.
