Narcus I don’t think you’re that wide of the mark, I presume that they hope to make more from other telcos than they have to pay in rent themselves and therefore make money. I’ve been invested here for years and apart from its lofty days when it WAS the biggest company on the FTSE it has always managed to disappoint. I’ve spent thousands averaging down to get to 164p. I’m not putting anymore in, perhaps the bod can do some work instead of investors having to continually put their hands in their pockets to keep them in the lifestyle they’ve become accustomed to. All that being said it is a defensive stock and one that ppl will always need, I just hope I live long enough to see this become a value share again.

Gecko, CS is what tipped the balance for me too. I just took the plunge a bit early so sat nursing a loss at the moment. I’ve no doubt that it’ll come good though.

I’ve listened to it twice now, and my opinion of the interview is waffle. LR was winging it. He’d gone off script and didn’t know how to get back on. Whoever it was that offered to do some free PR work on LinkedIn for him should offer again. I think the first two minutes domes it up completely “ we need to go to the share holders every year to get their authority to keep diluting the value until and IF someone either JV or buys us out”.

dvh, I won’t put another penny in this company. I’ve been a believer since day 1 that I done my research. The only reason I’ll continue to hold my shares is because on paper I’ve lost over 50% in value. Hopefully some mug will start buying in vast amounts again (not you) and get the sp within 10% of my buy in price and I’m out.

I agree with consolidating whole heartedly but awarding the bod license to print money at our expense again I would not vote for. LR and co are just looking for a massive pay rise and a win win situation for themselves. I wonder what the major investors think about it, you can guarantee they were briefed and will be given further perks to ensure they stay on board. If I wasn’t so far in the hole I’d sell everything I’ve got.

BB, on the contrary, your views are very valuable on here. I may not always agree with what you have to say, but you question what is being said and the situation. That acts as a check and balance for every argument and that is good. I hope you’ll continue- you pain in the **** ;-))))
