Prof, I think this is a point that anyone who loves a good conspiracy theory is going to really get their juices flowing. We’ll never know the answer to it, but if it helps to pass a few minutes my theory is as follows;
I think there’s been a bit of a falling out in the boardroom over offers and they mutually agreed that DS should become M&A officer to stop the argument. I of course offer this purely to keep the conspiracy going.

Gecko, it is not comfortable watching what was a very healthy profit draining away. With the number of shares that you have in your trading and isa accounts you’ve earned the right to express those concerns. I’ve got 912+ k shares and I must admit I’ve been staying away a bit just so that I can’t see it. We both know ultimately we are going to have a lot of cash when the fat lady sings, but until then carry on rewardless;-))))

Tiddlor, hi mate long time no speak I hope all is well with you. Not a good day for the nerves when the MMs play games like this. I’m here to the very end, as someone said last week I think; the only person that’s going to sell my shares is a member of the bod.

I know that the idea of investing is to keep an eye on the end game, especially this share as it should be massive when we get the RNS announcement that someone has put in a bid that the bod find acceptable. However, since we seem to be sat here with plenty of time to speculate I just had a look at “what if” I had sold my shares at 28p. Right now I would have had £90k more shares in this company if I chose to reinvest all of it. That’s a lot of cash by anyone’s standards, so if that is my loss (on paper of course) what has it done to the bod who hold squillions of shares between them. I hope something happens soon because it’s horrible when you’ve got this amount of time just waiting for THAT RNS.

Morning Ian, I hope you are well. Sorry to hear about your tv after such a short period. I bought the Sony Bravia KD55A8 from John Lewis a few weeks ago, absolutely brilliant the picture quality is fantastic. Whatever you get I hope it lasts longer than this one.

DrAim, Buko actually has a valid point. That bridge is a single point of failure, without it you might as well be sat on the beach somewhere. Somebody was negligent in their duty in risk management. It’s what they’re paid to do so I’d love to be a fly on the wall when the bod have their meeting to discuss WHY this fault wasn’t picked up. Let’s hope next week they get everything up and running and give a very upbeat RNS which will push us onwards and upwards.

A lot of testosterone floating around this bb yesterday and it seems today is going to be the same. We’ve had some beautiful weather why not go out and enjoy it instead of spending all day on here pontificating on a subject that only the bod and their very close associates know exactly what’s going on. I’ll check back later, but I’ll guarantee that the same ppl will have been on here all day arguing the toss about nothing. I don’t know as much about investing as most on this bb but I know enough to say I’m invested here because of the assets in the ground, the bod, and the banks representing us. Not forgetting the brilliant RNSs that are our bible because they are fact not opinion. Have a nice Sunday and I’ll see you all tomorrow which is the start of what could prove to be totally life changing for many investors who contribute to the bb.

DIFTK, I reckon that we have the big hitters on the front row to ensure maximum shareholder value. So that any bids that are made give all shareholders big or small the very best deal. Having been in the Forces all of my adult life and associated with them after I’d done my time, I know nothing of how business works at all. But the bod have done a cracking job thus far and I’d guess they want to see it through to the end and repay loyalty. But then wtfdik

JT, are you able to show your usual volume of buys, sells etc for after close incorporating those huge buys that occurred after trading had finished with a comment on how many shares are still floating about. There surely can’t be that many that aren’t in sticky hands.

BB, when I spoke to LR a while back I’m certain he said that he didn’t want to forward sell the silver. Now I know things have changed since the consolidation and he may well have reconsidered that point, but that is what he told me pre consolidation.

chrishutch, you seem to be one of the sensible contributors on here, can you answer me a question? Why do ppl keep saying the production has stopped? Delivery will have halted that’s for sure but I would have thought that mine production has continued so that once the bridge is up and running again, it’s a case of run the lorries 24 hours a day until you catch up with deliveries. Am I wrong or have I missed something?
