John Sisay is reportedly the owner/operator of the Tschudi. Matchless operations in Africa. Niel was John's (John was CEO) marketing director for a previous mining company in Africa.

He was due to speak as TW representative. There has been no update as of yet as to who might speak in place of him. As he is no longer an employee i can't see him attending.

Looking back through Niels profile he has history with Mining in Namibia. Considering the current state of the copper industry I could see it as being a no brainer for him.

Estate Agents don't appear to be expecting a glut. No Indication this is the start of a trend.

Niel also reposted a previous message on X 2days ago that he was looking forward to seeing Tschudi, Otjihase and Matchless back in production. They are copper mining in Africa. It would appear that he knows the set up and they are hopping to restart imminently. It could well be that he is off to sunnier climes.

He was talking up the excellent opportunities available in Africa around the time the house went up for sale. Could be wrong but this looks like it has been in the pipeline for some time.

I have looked through the published responses, interesting that 19 appeared in the final 24hrs. I think your interpretation is pretty spot on although i feel Issue 2 is a specious argument and has no bearing on the outcome here (I may be wrong).

The number of responses could be much higher so we are still waiting for any formal decision first from EA then TW. lets hope patience pays off. ATB

Evening Gingy. I have heard of no alien visitations in the last 24hrs. As far as i can see all is quiet. I guess there is no new info at the moment. We are all waiting for the end of the consultation period and the EA's decision. It looks like fingers crossed for now. ATB

Evening Croissant. Having looked through social media posts after community coffee mornings, there does not appear to be any negative posting. If the locals where in serious objection to the project this avenue would seem ideal for them but I can find no negativity ,nor much else to be honest.

Croissant I will heed your sage advice. All good things and all that.

A good lesson indeed but are people looking for solutions to problems the EA don't believe exist. As an investor, of course I have got a vested interest in seeing this project get the green light. So i hope you can understand a certain degree of frustration when people appear to be looking for glitches in a seemingly (to the EA) acceptable processing facility.

I have read through and understood as much as any layman can with no Knowledge of LFN testing or any history of EA testing. The results seem good and the EA seem satisfied.

The one puzzling aspect of all this is that as far as i can see there has been no change to the proposed process that the Ea where minded to provide a permit for on the 22/3/2024. Has a spanner been thrown in and if so why and by who? If not then all should be fine.

Does anyone know how significant the apparent change of wording on the Gov web site is? the Original Doc refers to "restarting mineral processing facility" where as the community forum page. where the new date of 30 may 2024 is makes reference to "a new bespoke application for an environmental permit". This seems a little odd.

If the date was changed on Friday this would have to have been during normal business hours. This would have given TUN time to have released an RNS. The fact that this did not happen and that there is no reference to an extension on any gov web site makes me wonder (Someone with more knowledge of these matters than myself has also looked) if this is a mistake.

MY understanding of the IGDH submission is that it could possibly have a bearing on the proposed updated feasibility study Q3 2024 but would have no effect on the MPF permit consultation.

I have checked as far as possible and although I can find links that lead to a page with the closing date of 30/5/2024 I have been unable to find anywhere that it states there has been an extension to the consultation period, or any reason for one. I have checked local press etc as well as Gov sites.

Evening Croissant. wont say i filled my boots, but I did fill a good pair of shoes! Bougourd has quite a track record and looking into other players it seems a very capable team. the added aggregate experience of Edwards is interesting. All looks fine. Patience will tell. GL
