Onshore to offshore, Wintershall Dea is active in numerous exploration, development and production projects in Mexico. These include the onshore Ogarrio oil field, where Wintershall Dea is operator, holding a 50% share. Ogarrio was discovered in 1957 and currently has around 80 active wells. In the Gulf of Mexico, particularly the Sureste Basin, Wintershall Dea is a key player with shares in ten offshore exploration blocks, three as operator.

A string of milestones in early 2023 have underlined the company’s commitment to the national energy market. Major progress is underway in Mexico.

The latest success was a major oil discovery in Block 30 (‘Kan Prospect’), estimated to contain 200 to 300 million barrels oil equivalent in place. Elsewhere in the Sureste Basin, Wintershall Dea is contributing to Mexico’s future energy supply with a material stake in the producing Hokchi Block and the world class Zama field.

Our last Dividend from current structure will be paid in April 2024.

I like that Linda said transaction would take several months so may be quicker than a year.

Also both of them confirmed still in the market for acquisitions even now….

There was so much that Garbour said in the presentation it hard to know what they are going after first.

Zama FEED seems to be rushing I’m on so tvsts sounds good.

Also 3 wells in the Andaman in the coming months has to be very positive. They must think they have a mobster there.

I like the way she said production exceeded 500k per day. Be good to see where that number ends up.

It’s certainly not a very cheerful start to the holidays.

Very very small volumes so easier to manipulate and no bad news so just one of those days..

Oil up a bit and worth remembering the stock market has a heard like mentality.

Todays new papers, tomorriw chip wrappings (in the old days)..

If we're using 30/06/23 then we can't be far off being debt free whilst still paying $455m dividend end of 2024. We were looking at FCF of well over $1B with higher gas prices on Harbour's 190k so add 310k would be nearer $3B as possible Harbour's capex in Norway and Mexico can offset tax?

That just leaves $4.8B bonds or £3.8B.

Enterprise value £9B with potential to produce FCF of at least $3B and possibly £3B a year.

Way too cheap and anyone holding BP and Shell should be all over this at under £3.
