We're thrilled to announce that Connected Competence, enabled by the ECITB, has won the award for collaboration at the EIC National Awards!
In just a few short years, Connected Competence has made a significant impact. Participating employers have demonstrated a strong commitment to safety by working together to establish a standardised level of technical competence for site-based trades.
Their collective efforts have helped ensure the continuous recognition of technical competence, fostering a proactive safety culture among both permanent and transient workers across the industry.

This week, I had the pleasure of attending the STEM Women Graduate Careers Event at the Congress Centre, London WC1, a unique experience with over 400 attendees and 31 exhibitors!
The event, sponsored by Mizuho, featured insightful talks from leading companies like South Western Railway, Bird & Bird, Harbour Energy and AWE. We also had engaging panel discussions with inspiring representatives from Mizuho, Thales and Gunvor Group, offering valuable insights into careers in STEM.
What I enjoyed the most about the event was the opportunity to connect with exhibitors from a wide range of industries, including ION, Rothesay, British Airways, Mizuho, Lloyds Banking Group, LSEG (London Stock Exchange Group) and Panmure Liberum. It was exciting to hear about the range of opportunities available in finance, technology and beyond.
